Timestamps to each boss in the video description! (and yes, I missed a few when going through the campaign) Most of you probably know me for playing strategy games, but I've been a long time Path of Exile enjoyer (since 2012 closed beta basically) and I've been waiting for Path of Exile 2 EA release for a while. This was my first blind run through the campaign, streamed live over on Twitch at twitch.tv/marbozir - so I figured I'll make a compilation of one of the best parts of it, which are boss fights.

You missed two bosses--one is the candlewax demon in the Count's Manor. Hopefully you only forgot to include it in the video and didn't actually skip him entirely cause he gives you +30 max life. The other is the boss of the Molten Vault (which is a SUPER COOL fight).

I found that the best skill to use early on (Act 1 and Act 2) is High Velocity Rounds with Scattershot (and Double Barrel to go with it, so that you don't have to reload as often), it's good both for single target, and to clear groups of enemies, if they're lined up (and they often are). Flash Grenade is also a very good skill to have on top of that, for some crowd control - it has a very short fuse, and it's not only an AoE stun, it also does some OK damage (for a utility grenade). These are the two skills I used a lot basically until late in act 2 / early in act 3. Later on I switched to Explosive Shot with Gas Grenade. Explosive Shot does pretty good damage on its own (I am/was using it with scattershot, fire infusion and primal armament - the last one is a level 2 support, you start getting those in act 3), but it's also a detonator skill, and makes any grenade it hits explode. This is a very good combo with grenades, I was using it with Gas Grenade (though Gas Grenade explosions just got nerfed today). Depending on how you want to play, it's a good idea to use Scattershot with Gas Grenade instead, and then Ignition in Explosive Shot instead. Another thing that's worth adding is Oil Grenade (when you get there), because it slows down enemies and inflicts fire exposure (now I'm using that with Strip Away, Despoiler and Encumberance). In terms of the passive skill tree, I rushed straight for Insant Reload cluster, which is a total of 70% increased crossbow reload speed - this was a big overall improvement, with how much of a factor reload speed is with crossbows. I got reduced grenade fuse duration next to it as well, when I switched to explosive shot + grenades. Beyond that, as far as passive tree goes, I got Heavy Ammunition, Clean Shot, Vile Wounds (Blur and Combat Alchemy on the way there), Shrapnel, Repeating Explosives, Cluster Bombs, Grenadier, and later at higher levels - Forces of Nature, Catapult and Authority. Depending on how often you want to switch between ammo types, Full Salvo is very good too (25% increased damage for each type of ammo fired in the past 10 seconds). There are some other skills that can be pretty good, for example I used Galvanic Shards with Pierce and Lightning Infusion for a while, and it was pretty good to clear bigger packs of squishier enemies. At some point I also started using Ripwire Ballista with Lockdown and Encumberance (to pin/slow enemies). If you want to get a little fancier, you can combine this with Leverage support (on a different skill), which is 50% increased critical chance against immobilised enemies. Also, as a side note, at level 20 there's a crossbow that loads an additional bolt (as an implicit modifier), it can be worth trying to grab a white one off a vendor, and turn it into a decent rare using orbs of transmutation, augmentation, and then if you roll two good modifiers, using a regal orb, and then maybe an exalted orb or two - you will probably have some by then). This helped me quite a bit in act 2. At level 33, there's a bombard crossbow, which fires an additional grenade - so if you find yourself using grenades a lot, that's a good one at that point.
