If you find you're getting hit with chilled A LOT and hating it you have the option of finding some mana leech on your gear somewhere. Doesn't matter where or if its terrible and no need to spec into leech on the tree. Then you can anoint "Suffusion" (located in the bottom area of the tree) and you'll be completely immune to chill whilst using your mana. I'd probably add electrocute to stormwave once you have more sockets. Additional damage supports can always go on charged staff instead. Once you get a bit more spirit I'd personally be tempted to replace Herald of Ash with cast on shock - snipers mark to amp charge generation and crit damage on bosses. But I see the appeal of Ash too. Love the build. I'm working towards something similar but in SSF because I'm mental.

I think the reason WED looks so strong on your sheet is because 1) it's a huge number compared to POE1, but also 2) your current tree has almost no unconditional increased damage. For example, you have all the recently shock/freeze/ignite damage and the recent crit damage nodes. You of course fulfil the conditions constantly, so it makes sense to take the nodes but it means the DPS meter outside of combat is not that helpful.

You need like a 700 ev 200 chest, which you get by having 20% quality, 2x extra ev/es runes, and just high values and + extra to those stats

You should try polcekeln ring (unique sapphire ring) it basically lets herald of ice full screen clear with shatter prolif, ive offscreened cleared breach packs with this one ring alone. Just make sure herald of ice doesnt have elemental focus linked so the chill (which turns to shatters) can chain.

Are you sure CI counts as low life? In poe 1 CI counts as always full life, since you have 1/1 and not 1/1000 for example, and low life is 35% of max life

Chaos Inoculation is my most popular node, i love it. I looked at this shit and it is pretty insane, have like 100ex maybe i could wake up my monk who is currently on hold and give it a try. I looked at the gloves price 6-7ex ... hmm not that bad, why is he stating it is expensive... then look closer, it is 6-7d. Ok I remember them being for like 10ex.... But hey now they are 40ex/ piece. Ok back to the deadeye :D
