@Pohx Kappa i know this is not for new players but i think you can craft cannot roll caster modifiers on the weapon first and annul it to remove the added lightning mode before multicrafting iit then maybe can craft something usefull on the prefix as well

I really have a hard time understanding stuff and mechanics in most game(Short time memory and difficulty of learning) And this, showing the selling stuff with the gems and then, how you showed how to remove what you dont want and get what you really want, was super crystal clear! Awesome tutorial, and an amazing build! I've tried half a dozen builds this league, and this is the first one I really see sticking with for the long haul. I keep making "Tanky" characters with "Good DPS at low price points", but they end up being rather underwhelming in both damage and ability to take a hit. But this character . . . wow. I still die, but from overconfidence, not from bad luck hehe. Oh, and as for this video . . . took me a while to scrape together the exalts, only had chaos after spending most of my meager savings on a solid chest, but other than that, I spent maybe 15 minutes crafting (mostly sorting through my gem tab for fire gems) and came out with a +1, 123% burning damage, 18% Fire DoT stat stick that will probably stay with me the rest of the league (though I'll probably try getting some better rolls on it when the appropriate harvest crafts come my way) Rock on, my man!

I helped out a new player last league and he is enjoying the game so much (yes, he loves 3.19). And I think part of the reason why he did is because of your RF guides. He had so much fun with the build last league so now he is running RF again for his second toon for the league. The downside is that he is now quite picky with guides, and none come close to the amount of work you put in. Keep it up man!

First of all I wanted to say this is a great tutorial for someone who does not know how to utilize the crafting system. . . . . . . . However, It may need some updating because I just spent 2 hours trading and mapping to get to the part where you have to craft 3 things and it turns out (me as a new player who just doesn't know) that crafting 3 mods on an item now costs 2 div (Necropolis league) and not exalted lolololol But thanks now I know what to do with some Divs when I get them. Thanks Pohx for all of your hard work towards RF!!!!

Great video, totally understandable explanation of how to do everything. Question though, I don't have the unveil crafts for fire/ignite and fire DOT. Is there expeditious way to get them? I've just ran like 15 maps with Jun encounters on, unveiled had to be 100 items and neither craft came up.

3 leagues in the future still rewatching this, crafting has changed a bit but this is still very useful AND the exalt slam is sooooo much less expensive now. One of the few positives to the exalt/divine swap - after rewatching i guess im misremembering, i thought you exalt slammed for something hmmm

You might want to add a note in the description or link an updated video on the wiki. Multimod is now 2 divs instead of 2 exalts. The guide should also mention that the other crafts are both veiled mods, which are tedious to acquire. Not sure if this changes the value proposition

This is still a pretty straightforward and deterministic craft. I hate the ones that require esoteric knowledge about weights and metacrafts - "you add Cannot Roll Caster then you add this and that and the only prefix you can get is the desired one!" - that's waaay too much knowledge investment for crafting.

I think ashes for skitterbots would be awesome damage but you need to squeeze in some more reservation not sure if it's worth using just for vitality yoi'll have to PoB the tradeoffs

Hey @Pohx Kappa, I want to try SSF this league and I did RF 2 times before (in trade). First, thanks for all the detailed guides 🥰😍, and also the cool RF Wiki! Never seen something like it before, I can see you spent a lot of brainpower into RF builds! So cool! 😍 I think I do not really get how it is even remotely possible to AUGMENT / Regal these stats.. 😅 Maybe you can clarify if I am overlooking something? According to craft of exile, there are about 400 things an augment COULD roll if you include all tiers of all prefixes/suffixes. Even if satisfied with a T2 roll, that makes it a ~8 in ~400 chance to roll one of those 4 mods you mentioned: prefix Increased fire damage suffix DoT multi suffix fire DoT multi (suffix increased burning damage, you used in your example) and you can still brick it afterwards with ease, if you got 2 suffixes (beastcraft -> remove suffix) (there also is one variant where you need a Regal SUFFIX) So I would need multiple hundred sceptres/gems to get something similar? xD No wonder these are so expensive. Any tips for SSF? Just skip the +1 and roll harvest FIRE sceptres is my no-crafting fallback plan ^^' 🛠 Also, what crafts would you suggest (because some are locked depending on the stats you already rolled on it) This is my planned list (one allowes a Regal SUFFIX) - best if you have Suffix DoT Multi -> Easy, all crafts available 😜 craft: Prefix Incr. Fire damage + Suffix Fire DoT Multi Result: PS+SSP (allowes for a regal PREFIX) - if you have Prefix Increased Fire damage craft: Suffix Fire DoT Multi + ? suffix (low) fire damage ? 🤔 Result: PS+PSS (allowes for a regal PREFIX) - if you have Suffix Fire DoT Multi craft: Prefix Fire Damage + Prefix Increased DoT Result: PS+SPP (allowes for a regal SUFFIX 🤨) ("PS" = +1 Skill and multi mod craft) Hope you can think this through and give me some feedback, or anyone else! thanks! 🤩 Have a good league start everyone!! 🤩

This is a lot to go over and I have very limited time so since you like to play with craft of exile ( I do not I just haven't gotten used to it yet so I don't have like the calculator behind my examples) I would check out crafting on an item level 4 sceptre. You would ether fossil spam with fire or harvest spam for +1 & 16% Fire multi. You can then simply bench craft the 60% fire damage and honestly what weapon should be good for a long time. You can also force like an item level 4 void scep with div cards and making a new character but I forgot exactly how that one works out

Altars can give you chance for mobs to drop gems, you get a ton of them this way. Also heist gem chests drop a lot of quality gems, if you are willing to run it

should be the same but i guess there is no equivalent to burning damage mod on suffixes so you really have to hit % generic dot multi.

Hey, I was so confused. Why do we want +1 to all fire spell skills gems, we want +1 to all fire skill gems? Spell does nothing but help fire trap? Is this really worth a prefix instead of adding 45-54% fire damage prefix. How do you get +1 to level of fire skills gems which would boost RF? Your guides are amazing and helped me a lot in 3.19. How would you say this compares to the searing touch staff. Been thinking the staff is better and less of a hassle to get even in SSF

staves are usually more damage but I much prefer the defenses of a shield along with the mobility I'd say you probably won't really encounter many things that can kill you till red tier maps so you should be safe to play with a staff for a bit

this part can take like 5-40 attempts, it's very RNG. You can just id weapons off the floor and hope you get a good prefix/suffix then craft another affix but this weapon should take you through the whole game
