So I just switched to this shield last night after playing a fourth vow RF Juggernaut with Hinekora flesh/flame. This is such a game changer. It's like a completely different game. I am fighting double or triple ghosted t17 bosses with Titanic scarabs and just basically face tanking them. Crazy.

Nice guide but it does not work for me. When beam started (after 8:00 min) I turn off RF, trying to be close but it looks like I have no life regen , maven shoot few times and I die quickly, I back, trying to move to maven but shoots, ground obstacles and after few second life goes down and die, I have 99 character (6K live, big damage), gear for 100 divines, I have tried 20 times it, it is impossible. Why this mechanics is so stupid than even engame character cannot do it.

i got this helmet -from rerolling fire in harvest craft EAGLE GLANCE FLUTED BASCINET armor/evasion 210 lvl20 burning damage lvl20 less duration lvl 16 concentrated effect +88 max life 12% fire res 32% burning damage 15% increased area damage is it worth using this helmet for fire trap ? or swap fire trap to body and use helmet for RF ?

I'm playing my first PoE league ever. I've been following your 'block based' guide. I'm up to t16's but I'm feeling like I'm hitting my gear cap. I just got a svalinn to drop. I'm concerned about swapping to it, because I'm poor and might not be able to get the gear to make it work. I only have about 5d. Going to try and do poor man's version this weekend. Thank you so much for the guides. I know PoE is an older game but I've been having a blast. Even bought the $90 support to load up on tabs, not something I'd normally do for f2p.

Maybe you have upgraded the char and stuff, just wanted to say Replica kaui ward Jade amulet is very good for that area effect, also annointed blast radius because i took in passive tree Explosive Impact. Running Windscream for double curse! Took down all bosses but uber 1/7 only.

I really hope recombinators stay since I think they're a fun gamba and they give me a reason to check items on the ground

I am having problems bossing with hateful accuser. Not enough explosions. Do I just keep stacking ignite chance?

What do you think of the cast when stunned tech that's been increasing in popularity for chieftain? I wonder if bloodnotch + petrified blood & recoup nodes would be a good replacement for Svalinn when it gets nerfed... if that combo also doesn't get nerfed.

Simulacrum are actually easy with thise setup. Except I swapped Storm Brand for Firestorm of Pelting, which lets me hit the summoned mobs even when they are not inside my RF. Which means Assert Dominance could potentially be swapped for something else (I'm looking into options right now). Also, Svalinn might make us vulnerable to reflect damage, something I must also test to be sure I do not explode myself with a Firestorm :)

Character is pretty much finished, didn't feel like going to ubers since I'd have to re-craft a lot of gear to successfully farm them. I'll put this character on Pohx.net It'll be the Svalinn Version.

I'm new to the game, just bought a fractured sceptre with a %increased fire damage mod, used a regal orb on it to make it rare, and it won't let me use an essence on it as it says "weapon already has a mod of this type". What am I doing wrong?
