i find it funny that like every late game build passive tree is just jewel sockets, travel notes and clusters + some sprikled life on the way. wish some parts of the passive tree had more interesting nodes to rival just going for jewel sockets.

Yep, but that's how powerful Jewels are these days. If you wanna go GIGA, take what, 3-4x 1 passive Voices :D the effectivness per travel node is just insane compared to the regular tree.

@@mbXtreme defence scaling sucks on passive tree, unless your adcendancy grants some defence its almost impossible to get decent armor / evasion. just aura + arua effect is most efficient all the time. maybe poe 2 has a solution for now i just go glass cannon or play trickster/ champion^^

​@jedrusnowak3317 honestly, i see it as the same as regular gear progression... the base tree is cheap (as in, you only need to invest the leveling points) as you progress you get loot to improve yourgear, and you get loot to improve your tree. Its the whole point of the game Of course, there are some archetypes that are fun but dont really work until you have a bunch of jewels, but its also the same case as builds that rely on uniques. You just have to progress to get there

Hey MBX so I played hexblast strength stacker that also used blood magic and I used petrified blood and grace making it feel a lot tankier while using dissolution of the flesh maybe it might work with your build too ( you will need some life reservation from the champion of the cause, the mastery and some implicits on jewels )

what about petrified blood + dissolution interaction for your dmg reduction (only works for hits tho) and leathe shade for elemental ground of dots? would it work?

You could reserve life with a defensive skill. Champion of the Cause notable gives global reservation efficiency, and you can allocate the life reservation efficiency mastery to have more HP available.

or drop blood magic tbh, if you are already hitting dot cap even without the 10% more from it then I don't really see the reason to run it, so you can run some auras.

The damage doesn't stack no, but it makes the pack clear much more consistent.

The flask might be contributing to the chills needed for sadist... Unless I'm missunderstanding something there... Meaning, I don't think it's the added cold you're seeing chill, but maybe I'm wrong - and you just have enough scaling of ele dmg to actually make it chill

Given we are lifestacking, want pops and are struggling with defences would chieftain be a good idea?. Closer to life and armour nodes, you only have to have fire res so you can have other stuff replacing the slots lighting/cold res would have on gear and you cap max res way more easily?

You lose out on guaranteed ignite chance, 40% more damage (shaper of flame+shaper of storm), and 25% extra pen on exposure. That's *alot* of damage to give up just for chieftain's tankiness.

Kinda weird how low the eHP is, I've seen 4k life builds with 300k eHP and this one has 17k life with 40k eHP

Wouldn't petrified blood help you with dissolution? You get around 40%ish reduced reservation from dissolution procs with it, so a lot more leeway from hits imo, and the recharge takes care of petri downsides. Degens would still be a problem though, but i can't really think of an easy solution if you're using blood magic outside of a skin with lethe shade or sources of unnafected by "X type of Y ground" on boots. @@SakaiSteven You could get around that using 2 essence worms i suppose. Basically, the setup that relic of the pack builds uses iiirc. At that point, you would have to use the boots instead of bereks respite for clear. I don't know if it would be worth it, but it's still an option tbf. You could also use an aul uprising amulet to get a 3rd aura or just using 1 essense worm to get the 2 auras; but you lose around 3k health doing that so i don't know if that damage/ehp loss can be mittigated when you get better gear elsewhere in this build's case.

Respite + Ignite Prolif. Technically it's probably tripple ignite since Shaper of Flames + Explody Flask.

@@dakai4992 I meant reason for double prolif, prolif has no chance no reason to make it double, ignite chance is capped early and its only 1 ignite per target, so your words make no sense to me

@@imjwmka the reason is because ignite prolif can't create chain reaction, it only works on a monster that you personally ignited, and everyone around it (and its corpse) are affected by its ignite. That make clearing a big pack or several packs close together slower, but on the other hand - it kills anyone who stepped into the zone of carnage afterwards (whether from outside, or monsters that come from corpses of others) Berek's respite, on the other hand, (same with explody) can create chain reaction instnatly clearing several packs at once, but often miss strugglers, that otherwise would be cleared by the ignite prolif around the corpses. So having both is quite nice.

Aren't gameplay clunky due to Snipe mechanic having to hold button and release? Desolution of the Flesh is big for damage and max hit taken, but it makes any kind of dot so annoying and dots are omnipresent even with all kinds of immunities. Also playstyle of having to dodge / disengage enemies a lot. Wdym by dot cap? Do you still confuse ignite dps and total damage per ignite? xD But even that isn't reaching 28m. ._.

You probably don't need the node on the tree that recharges your life because you use dissolution of flesh anyway. So even if you have 1hp and you don't regen when you take damage you will not die as you are not TAKING damage but RESERVING it. So i think its a useless node no?

Yes you cannot die by having no life when using dissolution, use cases for eternal youth is perhaps kaom's spirit gloves and to proc mechanics such as adrenaline. It also helps against monsters kill players under %hp or culling I think.

looks like a cheap build-->143% Adorned, I take it back, I take it all back, it's not cheap at all.For adorened each magic jewel with good rolls are 10-20D each as well MbX has 18k hp and i have 2300. Cries in Chieftain.
