In Solaris Temple Level 1, there is a tray of tea cups and tea pots next to the waypoint. The 4 tea cups will point to the room exit that leads to Level 2 while the 3 tea pots will point to the room exit that leads to the Solaris Concourse.

A little tip for Vaal City: The right side of the entrance wall, where you walk up the stairs, will always show directly in a straight line to the waypoint

I have allways just gone with gut feeling, and only had a problem once. i just hug the top wall/water line, until I feel i have gone about far enough then head for the center. So this tip might help me save some time this league. Thank you very much. I have someone to beat, despite them playing three times as much as me, so every second counts 😅

Learned a couple of tricks I did not know for the second half too. I've written a program that watches the client log file for zone changes and uses the Speech to Text API to speak out zone tips. These will go directly into that so THANKS!

@@freshlowso6720 a lot of his tips Ive seen done by the speed runners, so it does help see, or watching this or them multiples times, and even doing a few test runs eventually it becomes part of how you run through the acts. the main thing I noticed about my leveling is I didnt use a movement skill, and by movement skill I mean leap slam, shield charge or whirling blades. right now I avg 30 mins per act.

Karv did extensive research on the vaal city zone layout and it's a bit complicated but there are definitely ways to tell with certainty (afaik) where the waypoint is located.

Final Floor of Decay in Act 8 - Its always the third doorway on the left or the right after the door you came in to depending on the orientation of the map, leads to the boss

A trick to Brine King Reef for me is to Reset until Wyriam spawn on your left side, then the Reef will always be on either the right or down right

Reef is a great xp zone so I just level up until I'm not too under leveled anymore. Therefore I don't mind fully clear the map.

I think the reason I was struggling to describe it is that I learned a lot of Diablo 2 speed running layouts years ago and over there you orient based on tiles and your character, so left can sometimes be screen right etc:)

When you're talkin about directions on the screen why not use Northeast Northwest Southwest Southeast. Gives you full eight points of direction
