Path of Exile's hot new gem is Tornado of Elemental Turbulence - and like Arc last league I wanted to give you a look at a very cheap budget setup of this new gem on a 1 divine setup that's performing VERY well! No promise of efficiency on the tree at the moment as I'm figuring it out as I go.

Spend a point on the "you count as low life while on 55% of life or lower". It tips the PB trade-off more in your favour which feels nicer (assuming you can get your life reservation to like 45%). It also makes the tops of the claws on the health globe line up with your new low life level.

Remember to use an uncorrupted gem for the Combat Focus recipe, it will not work with a corrupted one!

I started with Eye of Winter Chains on Scion. Deadeye/Elementalist Ascendancy choices to get the extra exposure on Frost Bomb, and Frostbite as a curse, suck away 66%~ enemy resistances.

I'm also going Nado and yoloing the build the whole way through. Went trickster and gonna be frenzy charge stacking with ice bit with long term aspirations of Ralakesh's impatience w/ replica call of the brotherhood and brutal charge belt with possibly lvl 30-35 ice bite helmet shenanigans if I can ever afford it. No clue if itll be good, didn't PoB a thing, jus gonna see where it all takes me.

I've got a similar build going and it's a lot of fun. I'm using burden of Truth, circle of guilt and crown of the inward eye and I was able to go real life using petrified blood. It really is a fun skill. I've been scaling physical instead of fire but I still get these huge ignites.

Im goin to be makin a build with tornado also but im goin a completely different route and it. I wanted to league start it but i wasnt sure how it would be to start so i held off and went something else but now i have some money im goin in and hopefully i can pull it off. Lol I hear ya there, mate. I started DD because I wanted to take advantage of a super busted spell , for the sole purpose of getting shitloads of currency quick which allows me to do my favorite thing in the game, try new builds that I theorycraft myself haha. 5 days into league and I was sitting on 80 Divs. So I spent a bit of time thinking of something fun and interesting that I can spend 80 Divs on. Went accuracy stacker venom Gyre juggernaut lmao. Honestly that build is super fun and I have to try and rip haha. As of today, I spent the last 2 sessions farming more currency with DD, got myself another 60. Going thru Templar tree and ascendancies because I've never played one in my 4 leagues and 600 hours lol. The one in this video is interesting, might use it as a jumping off point, obv with less budget gear. Then, after this next build, I'm gonna spend a week on DD farming currency and then I'm just gonna find random people to give fat stacks of Divs haha. Like go to Lioneyes Watch in act 1 and just pick the best name and trade em 50 Divs and a HH lol

Im using it as elementalist together with lightning conduit. With 12 hits/s you can cast LC very fast without loosing the shock

Great Video, Had me interested in making a second character; question though why the sanctuary and pious path nodes from ascendency? you have to stay still for consecrated ground and why would you mapping or bossing

The effect clings for you, you only have to stop moving for a split second every so often which happens whenever you cast spells etc!

I started too cuase i miss the "good old days" of archmage cremation and able to stack 3 tonados (like Crema) with fair duration (again like crema) was enough to worth try, now im into energy blade *captain lance* with obvs. synergies battlemage+spell blade+ energy blady quite cheap, just simple ghostwrithe and a 4link in any pieace of gear, thats it ready to go till yellow maps.

Yeah it scales with petrified blood and low life defenses with evasion later you’ll still get clapped quite a bit. It’s a decent mapper. Keep in mind the tornados get stuck behind walls and can’t be cast over ledges so the jail and long cooridor maps are awful for the skill. For bosses you should get a second skill like penance brand to slap down with the tornados for burst.

there is - you need a specific scarab for it - not rly needed to invest into passive points for beasts

It could work but it is very unsynergistic. CoC triggers a skill 6-7.5 times (before awakened CoC). Tornado lasts 4 seconds and can have a maximum of 3 so you would hit your tornado limit half way into the first second of attacking. Cast while channeling runs into the same issue but does have the upside of being easier to setup. If you want to have all of your tornados up with one click you could use unleash but I know that isn't really the same thing as comfy cycloning.

Headhunter is always at least good but it's much better on builds that can scale via additional projectiles & attack/cast speed.

Archmage doesn't work with "Orb" skills and when I said Tornado had every tag I meant it! Battlemage Energy Blade could be okay but much more difficult a setup.

i dont get the eternal Blessing setup ... if i use it with Zelotry .. Vitality and herald of ashes cant be activated anymore.

On blood magic it just gives you a free aura but you cannot be reserving mana - have to be blood magic for it.

I made this with an elementalist and tried to use the randomness to its advantage...and it sucked! lol! I got about 200k dps rip

Should be able to get a lot more with elementalist. Use the exposure ascendancy with hydrosphere and hextouch with elemental weakness. 73% res reduction with both. Shock ascendancy and the one following the exposure are massive damage multipliers. Beyond the spell and elemental scaling on the tree a great pair of starter gloves is doedre's. They give 100% increased spell dmg and reduce cast speed which you don't care about

Hmmmm....i dont become fire Tornados....using exactly your equip,jeweils,skills but there is still normal Tornado. Lvl 76 actualy 😅

Glad someone enjoyed this skill. I personnally failed hard with my league starter using tornado of elemental turbulence. Just a lot of limitation for scaling. Let's say just replace it with any other skills, you have like at least double the dmg. Very cool visually though, hope it gets buffed
