@@Mezion I do agree with that point. I think out of most of the buffed uniques most of them will still be unused or 1c junk. The divine change is way more impactful to the value of picking up uniques vs. the unique buff

@@Beverice I always pick up even 1c uniques, in the event that it's a close to perfect roll. They want unique drops to be more impactful, so hopefully the rework will amount to something. There's definitely a market for leveling uniques, and they seemed to accentuate the impact that the reworked uniques will have, when you use them for leveling.

@@Blestyr im not that experienced but they said they're nerfing the pack density of beyond and previously beyond was only used for more pack density, and a lot of it. now it'll still be able to be used for that but it seems a bit less, but it'll now have a new use which is to modify corrupted items which is pretty cool i guess, but a bit less useful now that the krangler doesnt exist

@@PhilC Not entirely. Detail isn't made by the engine, I'm sure. It is the textures, but I think people are so used to play on low-graphics or have dynamic reoslution turned on, that they forgot how amazing the game looks, if you take your time checking the graphic settings as well as turn Global Illumination on. Highly recommend going through some areas after you fix some settings. PoE is a beautiful game

This is looking to be an insanely good league, probably one of the best ones they've ever come out with. A lot of the changes are extremely healthy for the game, especially with addressing how league mechanics were very often missed out on for new players because they locked themselves in due to their Atlas Passive Tree, but with the Map Memories... it's going to be very, very interesting to say the least, because it looks like now you won't have to worry about not being able to upgrade your gear as easily because you didn't path into Harvest or missing out on currency because you didn't path into Harbinger or Heist. Also, with Archnemesis being severely tuned down in terms of frequency - which was the biggest reason why I had to stop playing because it was far too frustrating even on a super tanky Level 90+ Shield Crush character - I think this is the league where I'll be dumping at least three times more time into than I have with any other league. Very exciting stuff, and I'm really glad that GGG has been listening to the community a lot more now.

Despite the Archnemesis changes to reduce the number of rares, it still doesn't solve the problem that AN is chock-full of absolute garbage mods - it's a very parasitic game design mechanic that should have never been forced into the base game. The changes to loot were unforseen, unannounced, and makes it completely blatant that GGG does not test their game out in any traditional way (as seen by them generating their own items for the Build of the Week, which had an impossible item). This was already known, but this was the spotlight to shine the light on the shit. It's unacceptable. It wouldn't have taken but a handful of hours of basic playtesting to see the massive reduction in loot. The changes to switch from Exalt to Div was completely pointless and detrimental in every way. Exalts STILL are not useful in any capacity except as a cost for Bench Crafting, and we're left with an abundance of old systems not being updated to suit the change (Brother's Stash becoming pretty worthless, a huge insult to the creator of the card who lost a brother). I didn't play long enough to see the memories mechanic, so I can't comment on it. Playing in maps still remains to be a slog of a climb towards the endgame if you're not playing a meta build. At some point, you just can't get past the expensiveness of "fixing your build while also upgrading it" because of limiting factors such as resistances, stat requirements, socket color requirements, socket link requirements, and especially specific auxiliary affixes like block chance or chance to poison or spell suppression chance. So yeah... a huge letdown. I do not have any hopes for 3.20. I'm just gonna play Darktide.

I love this game, but I only play single-player and just like going around doing the story maps, and it confuses the hell out of me whenever they put out an update bc I never know if they're adding more main story chapters, or if it's focused on league or cosmetic stuff that I don't care about. I don't want to download another 4 gigs of stuff I don't want, but you can't suspend updates on Steam if you want to play the game.
