The build no longer really works, as boss HP has since been quadrupled, and charge snapshotting has been fixed, so weapon swapping to Shimmeron will drop you to 9 of each charge. Discharge's damage was roughly tripled, so that's nice.

If it makes you feel any better, it took about 2 weeks to record the vocals (and I would have spent longer on it,) and the deepest parts took the most takes. I'm still mad that I got a perfect take practicing in the car when I wasn't recording, and the final take isn't as good. Most of the time, I can't get that low, either. I could only record pretty much immediately after waking up, and with some hot tea + honey at the ready.

My good man, your soothing voice is a blessing to my ears and this strategy of getting the best numbers of damage in PoE is impressive, despite it costing more than 2 entire past seasons' economy. But what i'd appreciate to be done, and I've wanted this ever since the atlas introduction, is for someone to craft and fine-tune a pure all-in-one tank, with laughable dps but ultimate survivability, able to survive otherwise insta-kill mechanics. Alas no such build came close other than RF, but even that depends on life regen. and that can be negated by map mods.

What would you do for the CWDT setup ? I have cwdt lvl 8, steel skin lvl 14, fire golem lvl 10, and cold snap lvl 12. It's kind of a sweetspot, 1000 dmg trigger for 1000 damage potection, but about the golem and the cold snap im not sure if I should upgrade them or not.

That's not a bad setup. An argument can be made for a higher-level Steelskin, but what scenarios would cause the entire level 20 Steelskin buff to be depleted? If you frequently encounter such a scenario, it might be worthwhile to upgrade the CWDT to 20. Otherwise, what you have looks good.

I believe you've been too hasty to discard this build. Yes, bosses have more hp and Shimmeron abuse is no longer available, however the build is not only viable, but in many ways better than before. I chose to open Ultimatum league with this build and gradually evolved it to not only 1-shot most bosses, but also fast clear and quite tanky (6k hp, ~40% attack/spell dodge and max phys resist). Also you regain all your charges in ~3 sec so phase bosses are not a problem. Main differences are the following: 1. Replace Shroud with rare influenced chest that gives frenzy on hit. Elemental penetration is available as a support gem. 2. Endurance generation from two Enduring Composure small clusters. No need for charging offensive saves us ~10 skill points. 3. Inya's epiphany overrated. Replace with rare influenced boots that give elusive on crit to make use of that massive badge bonus on elusive. 4. Replaced Bane of Legends by Endless Hunger. I find stun immunity far more important than cull when using a channeling skill. Frenzy charge generation is the main weakness here due to only 10% chance to get frenzy on hit, and I somewhat fixed it with 15% chance to gain max frenzy charges on one of my precursors. Naturally I don't have the +1 to power charges on rings since I ain't filthy rich like some people, but the 27 charge Discharge still works wonders. Enjoy!

Elemental Penetration is available as a support, yes, but I think it's even better to use The Admiral, because then you can more efficiently lower a single resistance (like Fire, with Combustion Support) and it's better than Elemental Penetration. With that setup you can get something like 30-40m damage, which is a lot, but not enough to 1-shot endgame bosses. I'm currently making a build that can 1-shot endgame bosses with a < 1 ex budget, and maps much more smoothly than this build, so you can see why I'm not recommending this one, which last league cost around 100 ex.

@@OMGItsJousis Thank you for your reply. Admiral is indeed a good option for maximal damage, but you'd have frenzy charge generation issues and no armor. You'd either return have to return to charging offensive which costs a lot of skill points and is inferior, or bleed shenanigans with Red Trail + Golden Rule (I tried this, couldn't get to reliably bleed enemies since we use wands), or Eternal Fervour from the timeless jewel. I think those are all of the "on hit" options, maybe precursor left. Without the +1 power charge rings, the base build in total is
