Big tip: there's a divination card called "the soul" that gives you a soul taker. Don't remember where to farm this but hope this helps.

you can farm it in: the cells, crater, overgrown shrine and sepulchure maps. cells and sepulchure maps are the highest at tier 8. just buying all 9 cards can end up being cheaper than the weapon itself right now

That's because you guys copy entire builds. Did you know that ichimonji swords are great? Or use Loreweave which provides amazing offensive stats. Just use your brain, rather copy pasting everything.

Sure, that doesnt mean you cant tweak it or change things but come on. The easiest way is to use soul taker because then you can use your whole mana for auras only. Do you expect the dual wield change to affect this build? Any chance it goes 2h with all the 2h weapon buffs coming? "Dual Wield The Physical Damage multiplier when Dual Wielding has been removed. This was originally added as a fix from half a decade ago to improve the damage of Dual Wielding relative to the higher damage of two handed weapons and the overwhelming defensive power of shields at the time. This allows Two Handed Weapons to remain the kings of damage, while Dual Wielding is the king of speed, with some defensive benefits."

For high end damage, probably. Lacerate 2H could easily out DPS dual wield in terms of overall but it has a very agonizingly slow attack speed. The likelihood will be that dual wield is just more bearable to play.

If you look at the updated PoB notes he says, "The Dual Wielding physical damage bonus has been removed. This unfortunately impacts our damage heavily. However the changes made to go Crit are enough to overcome this." :)

I'd encourage if you have money to spend, to get an elder chest base, you can get %life and %physred there (and some peripherally nice things like %lifereg or %life on kill or even %strength or %dex) Also if your running an armor build, you should go for enfeeble over temp chains because armor reduces smaller hits by a larger percentage than larger hits.

Hey! I just killed Sirus, and Im regulary doing t16's ( 20% quality, rare, vaal, metamorph, etc) without problems, this is my first time playing POE, It was amazing!! thx for the build man! Ended up using the impresence/blasphemy/vulnerability build (the amulet wasnt so expensive in the end, about 1-1,5 exas) and some modifications on the skill tree (just went for all the life % nodes near your path). If i'd ask for one additional thing of this guide it's this: When you have just a bit of currency, which slot has the most impact to get an expensive item first. My relatively new friens often ask "I got an lucky 1ex early (or even just an lucky 50c item), what should i buy?"

Tough question but if you were going to focus on picking up the biggest impact item(s) right away it'd have to be the axes. Try to grab a soul taker and solid phys damage siege axe. If that budget is too high get the Kaom's Roots and Impresence.

depends on what you currently have. If you don't have a tabula early on I'd prioritize that, then mid range weapons and other unique like the tomb-fist, those are usually not super expensive. What I'd not recommend is to buy a mid expensive item for say 100c and then 5 days later replace it with a 500c item to then replace it with a 7 ex item. I'd rather buy something for 50c and run with it until I can buy/craft the 7ex item.

@@jonathancasanas4695 I usually do one round of ~3-5c, per item to fix resistances and get some basic survival, one of ~20c on slots where theres big upgrades to be gained (to push into the upper tiers of maps) and then whatever i want to buy for the final form. Exceptions are uniques (which i try to get first after resistances/survival are taken care of for they are usually the biggest bang for your buck) and skill gems, where it depends on what kind of build it is.

I have some problems here and there but other than that just make sure your resistances are capped and you have some chaos resistance, also make sure you're using the flasks recommended constantly. Still the build doesn't hold up well compared to some others but overall not bad

With endurance charges, constant fortify, moltenshell and armour, basalt flask, lifeleech, knockback from lionsroar, blind and 5.3k life your supposed to be somewhat tanky. I am doing tier 14 maps comfortably. Obviously on a dangerously roled map with 100%+ extra damage as some element and -max resist, meta-morphs are going to hit you like a truck. But that's to be expected. Just make sure you role a map you can handle. Also what do you mean with "nearly capped"? Your elemental resist should be ALWAYS capped. And chaos resist somewhere around 0%. Every percent counts.

Really love the video and the build in general. But some forum thread would be awesome. Easier gear-linking and many more. By the way, is the video footage from 3.9? My dps vs. map minions is super strong and fast, but my boss dps is very low. I kill map bosses on white maps pretty fast, but in delirium i make like zero dmg, 15 min for 1 delirium boss is just not my kind of playstyle. At least with this build. Defense is very poor single target since you dont recharge flask charges fast enough. So you have to kite a lot, which is horrible with this build for me. If I have to kite I just play afk totems, more dps while kiting. I have almost every item from your build list. My dps in POB is not 1million, but 850k, I cannot believe pushing to 1 million will change a lot. Rather investing in another build. As league starter it is great, but high end it's nothing for me. I have no dps to kill last wave/boss in delirium encounter. Kiting is hard in this place, especially since the boss is always doing his "bubbles". Anyways great video, great guide. Really appreciate your work. You put a lot of love into this one. Since I got lucky and found a mirror and some ex I'm thinking about Pyroclast Mine. Nevertheless I like more tankier builds. Or at least builds that can dps while kiting.

I dropped north of 10ex on gear and at level 81 I'm struggling on T16. The only thing I'm missing from the skill tree is one socket, some strength and the health nodes in the health wheel. I suppose I will get more dps as my gems level up but aside from that I'm not sure where I can make any big differences.

Had some of the same issues myself, altho i 1-shotted sirus first try with all the recommended gear, that fight is not really a gear check, more of a fight knowledge check. Some metamorphs and elder bosses have been tricky though. look at the top lac glads on poeninja for some ideas. I swapped to offering to the serpent gloves for overleech/damage while leeching plus took damage while leeching on the passive tree. also got said gloves corrupted with cast on hit enfeeble. then i had to wear boots that allow for an extra curse plus 4 sockets for another skill set with vaal ancestral warchief + vaal haste + enduring cry for extra survivability and damage on bosses. HUGE difference. you also need to get the 40% lac dmg helm and min-max everywhere you can. Basically you notice alot of the top glads move away from Kaom's roots for rare boots to get 4 more gem slots as well as offering to the serpent instead of rare gloves for overleech + damage. belt of the deciever is also awesome for a source of Intimidate that is way cheaper than a watcher's eye or tombfists plus you reduce crit damage taken by 30% which helps sustain. and yea get enduring cry so you can stack endurance charges on bosses. hope this helps!

@Davis Zhu yeah using windshrieks for now and discipline & training neck enchant...could go whispering doom on neck to get both curses and then keep kaom's roots but I think you get more life with d&t...still experimenting. Trying immortal call with cwdt vs molten shell as well. Honestly I'm not sure there's a real answer for not getting 1 shot with this build or any build for that matter but the DPS is really good.

I've been using this build in 3.10 and found the clear speed to be really good but the boss speed to be lacking. Any suggestions for things to out in/swap to increase boss speed? I have 2 sockets and I'm trying to decide what to use.

Stacking extra impales with new cluster jewel notable Deep Cuts will help quite a bit. The extra impales will boost our boss damage significantly. If you need some extra nodes to spend I would consider dropping the Rampart cluster, Steadfast cluster or a bit of life. Make sure you've got a 100% chance to impale. Utilize Vaal Ancestral Warchief during boss fights.

Good call, it was something that was considered during the builds creation but was ultimately left out because we didn't have the socket space when running Blasphemy/Vulnerability. Now that we've dropped Impresence and gotten Vulnerability on our ring I went ahead and added Maim back into the links! Thank you for the feedback.

@@NobodyNr1 In the CWDT setup is actually really good for Blood Rage... Better yet, here's why. If you lose blood rage in a no regen map, and you have no way to leech mana or gain mana on hit (hint, WE DONT after we get soul taker and unspec the nodes on the bottom of the tree) you can't get it back unless you intentionally wait and get hit. The same results can be achieved without waiting by jumping into a pack and getting hit. The same goes for if we forget to activate it before leap slamming once (since abilities still use our mana).

Are any good corrutpions for Soul Taker like increased Attack Damage against Bleeding Enemies worth it? Or on the rare weapon isn´t 60% chance to deal 100% damage with bledding with this weapon super good?

Most corruptions for the soul taker are awesome, good luck! 50% of the possible mods you can roll with a vall orb if you don't brick it or do nothing are hugely positive. Especially if you get a fortify one as you can take off fortify from the skill links and replace it with ruthless for MUCH more damage while still keeping tankiness and tree benefits.

Built Haemophilia Serpentscale into this build. Its absolutely insane. This was one change I moved toward, added Aspect of the Panther on Ammy (effective and not expensive; sepia x2, azure x1), and I ended up with Daresso's 6 link for 3ex as I wasn't able to get into a decent Astral Plate. Le Heup/two Stone, 1.88 AS on Soul Taker, 1.83 on Siege Axe w/ +1, pDmg and AS, 25% Lacerate dmg on helmet. Your build absolutely shreds everything. Thx thx. Just keep going back to this build. New fav

Hi Esoro, I've been using this build since the start of the league, i've had some decent luck so i could afford some goodies here and there and i feel like im at the peak. I see in your video at the end how you shred those guardians, i've attempted Minotaur, i did kill him but it took some time and i had to kite around like theres no tomorrow. I didn't see it in the comments but you can change the color of corrupted items (refering to the cheap 6-link chest options. It costs chromatics and additionally the same amount in vaal orbs. Also, *very* well done guide.

Show me how it performs with budget gear and i might be impressed, i am so tired of build guides that uses old twinked characters on standard. I like the way you do guides, but showing budget gear can be more important than showing the high end stuff where it's all easy anyway.

I love this build so much. I had difficulty with your Storm Burst build. It maps fine, but I had never gotten to bosses before, and Atziri was giving me trouble as a noob. I did it first time with this build. You can find a decent Impresence with Ambidexterity for around 30 to 40c these days. Not bad at all, if you maintain chaos recipes on your map runs. I hope this is still viable next league. Thank you very much for this build. The most fun I've had in PoE.

Hey you say you dropped the vul setup because it is easy to get on a ring but have the assass ring on the POB. Which one should you go for? While saving the other for whispers of doom anointment. Also for the Lacerate links, do we use them in that order leaving Impale last? Ty good build going good so far, and I like crit way better

Due to Graphical Issues on my League Starter I invested about 2.5 ex and leveled this Build to the mid 70s and I have to say: Holy Smokes does this Build shred! Nice guide and thanks for some sweets tips. Just wanna add in the gem link section, Ruthless is not a good idea with multistrike because it does not proc with repeated attacks, so its takes way longer to proc ruthless with multistrike. Best to use impale or faster attacks.

i didnt realise this before trying the build but the thing that makes gladiator special is the challenger charges 20% attack and movement speed is added AFTER all other speed buffs. Such a magical ascendancy, i think I've finally found my favourite build.
