The concept remains legitimate but the user who is trying to make the profit still needs to do their homework (ie check and see what the current prices are before blindly following). Yes, you can make money in game from buying certain items, manipulating them to make them more profitable, and then selling them. It still takes money to make money.

Glad to see new video. You are doing great content, try not to burned out yourself! You can consider posting videos every other day instead daily. You will keep viewers engaged and have time to handle topic in the way you like. On youtube's efficently stand of point I would rather limit amount of 'golden' ideas per video. Instead making one video 60min with 6 strats, you can post 6 videos with each 15-20min. The algorithm will better position regularly uploaded videos, and you will have content for a longer period of time and loyal viewers.

After you showed how to get 50% damage to chilled enemies gloves the price of the bases went down and fracturing them became a lot more profitable.

Also do you plan on going further on the increased effect 35% jewels? I see you have one for sale at 32 with the fracture , why not craft it into more as you said? You were pretty hype about the fracture.

The mirror ring will take thousands of divines to pull off so I needed to narrow scope / decide what to focus on. I have a rather large “net worth” so to speak- if I ever need or want to craft another fractured jewel I can have that sorted in about 15 mins. Most crafts don’t require such preparation , but , and in particular given my move to KZbin vs. Streams I need to do everything at once for duration / recording sake- which means I have to front load tons of currency so the videos aren’t 2 days long haha

@@ArnoldMejia and that’s why you never see KZbin videos presented as guides where things don’t go well and why 90% of them are misleading or present an optimal outcome that was attempted 5 other times before being posted. If people truly want a better understanding of what something is like , which is a near obvious prerequisite to someone watching a guide, there is no better resource for that then watching long form. If that video is long , good, as it means that craft is layered and difficult - a message that won’t come accross to a non sophisticate with a cut scene and 2 minute explanation or what happened.

really great work and theses here, used some of your information to find some insane profit crafting opportunities on cluster jewels and saved them in poe trade. buying bases for 5c and using 20c worth of juice to get 180c jewels consistently feels great, and this kind of thing is long term viable. hope to adopt more of your philosophies over the next few leagues and be able to manifest the true market enjoyer lifestyle. great video as always

I've always struggled with remembering what jewels and what to hit them with. I remember in Harvest I did make the effort and was profitable, but meta builds change every league. Did you come up with a system to keep up with the changing market demands?

I'll be honest I think the real reason people suck at making currency in PoE is the same reason making money IRL is hard for a lot of people. It's because many of the best currency makers aren't "playing the game" or "fun" (to them) and they just don't actually want to do X thing just because it's profitable. Like for me there is no way I'm going to spend half my play time "flipping items" no matter how much I'll make. I'll just do something I enjoy for less currency 🤷🏻 Great videos btw! I hope to see many more, even if they aren't strategies I'll use most of the time

This is always what happen with any good currency making strats. Once it is advertised as profitable, the profit margin drop. Could be farming, could be flipping, could be crafting, once a relevant amount of people start all doing the same thing, that thing is no longer relevant. There is only a limited demand for tornado shot gems, if the amount of people trying to provide for this market is greater than the total demand. Then it's just going to stay unsold until someone else roll a TS build. There is a lot of ridiculous things in this game u can do to make profit. You see a level 5 awakened gem with zero quality, you quality it to 20% and suddenly you can sell it for 100c profit. You corrupt them all and the brick sell for a small lost and the +1 for a ton more. Just so many edges to get. If you want a 6/20 awakened gems. Don't start thinking: It cost 30 divines. No, just do it smart. Buy the level 5, quality and corrupt them all. Sell the fails and... I mean, don't wanna overstate this too much. But I sold bricked 5/20 for a profit over the price I paid for the original uncorrupted. So you win even when you lose. Lots of things like that everywhere, just don't do exactly what everyone else does at the same time or it won't work.

I typically dont 1 on 1 copy what is showed in the video but i let it inspire me to look for other options or discrepancy in price in the area. Mainly because i know the probably massive increase in supply and demand on the original is going to cut the profit and make it tough to sell.

This all makes a lot of sense, but the question becomes how you GET to the point where you're throwing 10-20 divines into investments. There's always the gap between chaos recipe and this point, and the question is always "what do?" For me the answer has always been blast maps, but you have much better results than me so I'm wondering if there's a better answer. Also I probably do average around 3 div/hr heisting early in the league, once chaos recipe falls off tho contracts fucking suck and you just blitz gianna for rerolls and go for alt quality gems. I love Heist but I don't know if I'm going to do any after opening weekend.

The only thing that keeps bugging me is that you rarely speak about the expected times for all items to sell. Especially in the beginning if you invest ally your currency into gems, you don't want to sit on them for days.

If I refer to something as a liquid asset I mean within the same day turnaround time. All consumables + gems + map items + most uniques fall into this category. The reason I don’t explicitly state “x” time is because that number will change dependent on how many people act upon the advice and how quickly. TS is super liquid normally, even 12-16 hours after videos are posted. In the first 1-6 hours tho they barely move because the market supply triples and people constantly undercut one another. So any specifics on my end would probably seem misleading to the person who sees video acts upon it right away and then doesn’t experience that immediate result in a similar fashion , even though they would in 98% of the league

I’m trying to start with flask and grow from there 😅why are people saying it wont sell for divs when I see it does. But looking for your guide on how to find what to craft and reading the market to fit your style. Also what other flask are good out of mage blade to craft late game. I feel i should stick to one thing and learn it best for next league as i’m causal player but learn everything as I’m going to lab and flask craft together to work in tandem.

Crafting is playing the game. Trading is playing the game. Most people will look for guides on how to do that, the same way most people look for build guides when they don’t know how to put one together. Also, nobody who was qualified to make such an assessment like that would ever come to that conclusion (assuming you mean killing monsters and mapping which is often what less experienced people exclusively consider “playing the game”) as it is not even in the same conversation in terms of currency.

@@BeltonPoE yeah but a lot of these guides is equivalent to gambling. while it may work for the first few days the more people do it the less likely you will profit a reasonable amount to make it even make it worth it. by the time you actually make money, you would of made that just grinding the game. yeah I mean alch and go and go make currency. im not saying these strats don't work, for newer players they are just better off alching and running the maps. Also, its better for newer to even moderate players to just look up strats that show how to efficiently run say Kirac's memory for fracture shards. yes crafting in the long run makes the most money but its more fun to just play the game like i said

It is easier to be a fry cook than it is to be a surgeon too, but I think given the option most people would rather know how to do the latter. Advising someone to not pursue medicine because fast food is easier and more applicable to someone getting their first job is not good advice simply because you never went to medical school
