5 mirrors in 20 hours. One mirror ~= $150, in RMT? So the very *peak* of for-profit PoE gaming makes...$37.50 an hour? Sounds like it's a really, really shitty idea to try and git gud at PoE in the hopes of abusing RMT, shenanigans, then?

The idea that one should approach past times or games with the idea of it being a job, to me, is crazy enough. Not to mention, for each person who RMTs it directly impacts the capacity of another person to enjoy that game to its fullest potential. That being said, I am but one person- the top rmt organizations such as those orchestrated would be making dozens and dozens of mirrors a day- primarily in std where it’s much less easy to track and the effects are less noticeable. They would be taking home 6 figures every league- the distribution of which I’m obviously unaware of- but I play the game for fun, stream all my gameplay, and tell people exactly what to do to replicate my success- these groups with economies of scale, automation, manipulation, secrecy, and a vertically integrated supply chain provided to them via means of their function- would be infinitely more efficient if looked at solely through that scope. But hey, for me at least, it’s a game- let’s have fun.

There are countries in the world with very low hourly wages. But also very low costs of living compared to ours. In many places you could live like a king with $40 an hour. That's where video game RMT is a very viable career choice.
