Hey Guys !
I'm back in Path Of Titans for another video packed with action and funny moments.
This time i'm growing a Daspletosaurus and i really like this dino.
You'll see me win a few fights as well as lose a few fights but there is one fight i'm realy proud of.
I took down a Rex which was exactly the same size as me.

The roar buff only buffs Tyrannosaurs in your group and if you’re not in a group it boosts you so it’s a good choice to use, I’d also recommend using Balance tail when in a situation where you need to run, I’m so glad to see more dasp gameplay since I don’t see it very often

I discovered your channel about 2 weeks ago now, and love the content 😊 I'm a scaredy cat when it comes to fighting, I didn't know how and still don't...but watching your videos with all the different dinos is helping me get ideas on techniques for my own fights that I end up in. 😊 I've won a few and it's partly due to watching you 😁

Was hoping to see some Dasplateo gameplay, and here you deliver, thank you very much fren. My only gripe is you may wanna edit audio levels, your voice came in real strong compared to the game.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry about the voice, it sounded good in my headphones but i realize it may be different for others, depending on their speakers or headphones. It's a bit difficult to gage plus i'm using a new headset because my last one broke. I'll turn down the mic input a little bit and see how it comes out in the next one.

Hey, thanks for the comment, i haven't played the speed variant. I've only ever played Defence Dasp. All i can say is i enjoyed it but as you saw in the video, i wasn't very fast so that white rex caught up to me pretty quickly. I can't tell if the Speed dasp can outrun a Rex or not so maybe someone else can help answer your question or if not then maybe you'd have to try it for yourself :)

@@KrawllUnchained my speed dasp can very easily outrun rexes but he does feel squishy with the lower defence. Very vulnerable to faster carnivores like a pair of determined metris

@@setoriusbelle I wouldn't go as far as sayhing the worst but i can see how he's not the best. I've seen them take out Allo's which are the same size as them however i think Allo's are faster and can run longer so that makes up for it. SO yeah, Dasp not the best but i still enjoyed playing it .

Just started playing a Dasp myself. I am really loving Dasp pretty powerful and decently tanky. I had just reached Adolescent and I got ambushed by a Adolescent Sarc. That little Sarc learned the hard way not to pick a fight with a Dasp lol I kill it pretty easily. Dasp is a ton of fun. I am running a balanced Dasp

Yeah i think it makes sense Dasps would be pack hunters. Considering they're not fast enough to hunt smaller dinos and they're not strong enough to hunt the big ones.

Also an adult dasp is literally no chance vs adult rex. The combat weight alone would make you do so much less damage to them. I mean anyone could kill the juvie and ados. But adult to adult rex 10/10

@@KrawllUnchained He ment that the tyrants roar/the damage boosting call only increases the damage of the rexes/dasps/alios in your group. So when you used the tyrannts roar, that random juvy rex did not get a boost :)

how to take pictures like that?

I'm using a tool from Geforce Experience called :" Ansel". So if you have a Geforce GPU, then you can download Geforce experience and with Geforce experience comes several tools. I use Shadowplay to record my gameplay by pressing Alt + F9 to start and press again to stop. To use Ansel and take pictures, you press Alt + F2, this will freeze the characters in a 3D environment, you can move the camera around the characters as much as you want and take as many pictures as you want, when you're done press again Alt + F2 and you're back in game. Just keep in mind, when using this tool, the game is still live and things are still happening around you, you simply can't see it until you exit the tool. Also, the screenshot was not this vibrant from the start, after taking the picture i loaded it into an online photo editing tool called PixLR and i enhanced the picture to make it more vibrant and contrasty. Hope this helps !

How long did it take until you became an adult?

It's around the same for all my dinos. It's approximately 24 hours of in-game time to grow from Juvi to adult. I could of course do it much much quicker but since i'm doing it for the purpose of making videos, i have to focus on encounters, not on questing, that's why it's taking me longer. But yeah, after growing so many dinos, i have my favorite questing spots and i'm pretty good at recognizing what's coming when i hear footsteps so if i wanted to i could be invisible and focus on quests and i could probably grow a dino from start to finish in less than 15 hours. I wouldn't enjoy the game as much if i did that though. For me it's all about the journey, not the destination.

Daspletosaurus would be a better dinosaur if the fricking developers already give it a speed buff already

Maybe it's not meant to be a fast dinosaur. I think it's intended to be used for pack hunting. They are pretty dangerous in a pack.

@@KrawllUnchained True, but for its semi-apex predator size, it should be fast enough to outrun at least a larger Deinocherius and Sucho, and should definitely be able to easily outrun a 10 ton Tyrannosaurus and Eotrike

@@kaponofalconer831 I think they're going for , bigger equals faster but has less stamina so basically, rex can practically catch up to anything smaller than itself but only on short distances so if the smaller dino starts running early enough for the Rex to run out of stam before he catches up to it, then he'll get away everytime. This is what i had planned to do with my dasp after dying to that white Rex. I wasn't gonna give another Rex that same chance ever again.

Don't be afraid to use Tailwhip more often, it really is useful for the times when someone ends up riding you. I can't tell you how many times I was yelling at the screen for you to use Tailwhip lmao...

I don't know, i noticed this when i was playing my Sarco and at first i thought it was because the Sarco has a pretty brutal water drain and has to constantly keep drinking so that would make the water quest pop up very often and make it more easy to grow the sarco. But then every dino i played after the Sarco no longer had the find water quest so i realised they removed it for everything. I don't know the reason why though.

Yeah i don't remember trying to blame those deaths on anyone other than myself though. The best way to learn is to try things so i try things and if i die then i die lol. It's all part of the learning process. We don't improve or get better by playing it safe 100% of the time ;-) Not in a pvp game !

I will get to the Allo for sure at some point but i've been trying to play dinos that are not the most commonly played so i've been staying away from Allo and Megalania. Don't worry though, i will for sure work my way up to those two dinos .

Allos need a better bleed attack. I can proc bleed pretty well, but you need like 4-5 claw attacks to really do anything noticeable. They're meant for packs, but even then, they don't do enough damage to things in their size range to really be a threat. I took on 3 of them as a stego and walked out of that fight with only about a third of my health gone.

@@Primarch_Sanguinius Yeah, i'll have to agree that so far with everything i've played, the only time i'm afraid of an Allo is when it's twice my size, the rest of the time, i see them as my next meal lol 😂
