Yes, I wanted to leave path just because of that reason. And I am not a huge fan of community servers either. I got an email back from them saying 'the game is in its early development, as the time goes on we will be adding features allowing different play styles'. I cannot how kind and caring they are! :,( I decided to give 'em a shot but limited play days. For example i play on weekends the most.

@@Jinx-z2g The devs are actually listening and are building in a anti-revenge kill system. :) Apparently it works like if you die, you cannot log onto ANY of your other creatures within a wide circle of distance. Making so it's more than a 5 minute travel for most creatures with a 20 minute timer. If you're outside that close range area you're fine to spawn in. From what I heard it works wonders. :) But you can't fix over-aggro sadly. Even as a herbie, or carnivore I'm always chill. It's so sad seeing how timid or careful carnivores behave around my adult herbie characters. Such as me and a friend get hunted, and either 1) I fail to protect friend. They die. Carnivore looks anxious about me but after some sad calls and a shake I leave. You earned your meal. No need for me to kill you as long as you don't continue and bite me.

If this session hasn’t somehow ruined your desire to continue playing this game, I would strongly recommend playing on community servers like Oasis #1 or some other server with body down rules. They don’t tend to be very popular but they have really chill communities and it can be really fun to get a small group and just mess around. The Oasis server has a different map that is gorgeous and has a lot of cool areas and the admins like to interact with players sometimes. When the server has more people it has always been the most fun I’ve had playing this game. They have a discord with all of their rules- most of them are there to limit KOSing and revenge killing. A lot of players tend to enjoy having friendly PvP matches, which I’ve found have helped me improve my skills. Plus, they recently installed mods for new types of dinosaurs. Some of the more popular community servers like Teutonic and Asura are decent, but they don’t have rules limiting KOSing so it can be pretty frustrating, although it’s significantly better than public servers. It might be worth just trying out a bunch of community servers to find one you like.

No offense to anyone, but teutonic is harsh and unforgiving for small group, let alone solo Players. You Will get hard time just trying to grow even with the passive growth or to create a good content. Not to mention the server had many waystones and homecaves campers. You Will never have marks more than 4k because you Will ended up getting ganked, died, and lose some marks and it Will repeated and then you realize you just wasting your time collecting it. Asura is decent but lacks of Players.

Funny because they were so proud of their adult Eotrikes and Ducks and Spinos they'd use to revenge kill or threaten or just control areas with. Not those rotten cliques are gone. If you ever wonder how someone can be so bad at the game, that megalania in the beginning is your answer. They aren't taught to fight or hunt, they're just fed by their adult friends. Then when they're grown, they're shit at fighting because they've never had to. Anyway I know official servers are supposed to be "the way the game was meant to be played" in these survival games but this is why I'll always prefer moderated servers with rules. No revenge killing, no KOSing, even no mixpacking sometimes. Just the better gameplay experience, in my opinion.

It always infuriates me when you see people just keep trying to get revenge over and over again. If you die you die simple as that doesn't matter if you spent so much time and effort on the characters that's the point of the game, you die then you respawn simple as that. That ending couldn't have been better❤️ I'm sure you made their day by helping out those people, it's how I like to spend alot of my time when playing deeprockgalactic. I got the same experience as you and 2B playing PoT. The thing is if you died in PoT you lose some growth progression and Marks you have gain, so it kinda pisses me off if you get killed over and over again and eventually you Will lose all the Marks you collects so hard. I always try to be nice to them by 2 calling them or request a group but they immediatly just charge up to me and start attacking and eventually i get gangbanged so hard and died and they start teabagging my goodboy Corpse instead eating it😂

Daspletosaurus is an awesome dinosaur. It's just so stupid that the creature can't outrun almost anything larger than it, like an slightly larger Allosaurus, Deinocheirus, or an stupidly OP 8-9 ton Eotriceratops.

See, this is my only problem with PoT. Revenge killing is e v e r y w h e r e on official servers, and it's obvious that the devs latest attempt to reduce revenge killing hasn't worked. This plus the horrible imbalance of a good portion of their roster and the current relatively small map size sadly ruins the game for me as there's relatively nowhere to go to get any of the items you need because half the time they're being camped by massive KOS mixpack groups of the strongest animals in the game. This bring said, if you ever would like someone to play with 2B2V, I'd be more than happy to join you.

I lowkey started tearing up at the end when you were helping the small and solo players with their quests, then taking the brunt of all the other player aggression for them. What a bunch of cowards, ganging up on easy target players and killing on sight or for sport. That kind of thing is exactly why I started helping other players who needed someone to help them have a simple game experience without being bullied and harrassed out of it. Like, I get it, you're playing dinosaurs and you want to go kill things, but some players identify wayyyyy too much with these games to the point that they forget we are all still human beings sitting in front of a screen, all just trying to do the same thing; have some fun and take a break from the real world for a little while. If I had seen you being bullied by those players, I 100% would have jumped in and helped you. Hope we meet in game someday!

Some tips for some dasp common match ups: Allo: if you ever have to fight an allo as dasp, ass ride them. Try bone breaking them then just ass ride until you win, since the tail attack is so sloww. Also according to my experiments, a defence dasp will never win a face tank against allo. So face tanking is suicidal. Stego: safest way to kill a stego is to always try to keep the stego at your tail and don’t waste your stamina running around. You will kill them slowly but more carefully by just spamming the tail attack. Riskier way to kill a stego is bonebreaking it (while risking getting hit) then just running around it and biting the head/neck( keep in mind the stego can hit in the process of turning around it). Sucho: bonebreaking it and tail ride ez Sarco: Run away the thing turns so fast and hits you easily Spino: just run away easy Iggy: if the iggy is dumb and chases you, spam the tail attack. If it doesn’t chase, just run away you have more stamina Deinonychus and Laten: water camp and just bait it to swim and you win Deinocheirus: you die unless it doesn’t want to kill you Eotrike: deinocheirus 2.0 (unless you are speed dasp and eo is defence). That is it anything else is pretty uncommon to find ( from my experiment)

Tips for progressing with quests? Damn those get me burnt out collecting 150 acorn (with a partner) 100 flowers 125 mushrooms And also what dasp is better i went with defence thinking it was a rex in terms of health (used to isle)

I’ve used that water tactic with an adult iggy once, I haven’t played on modded servers since this: I got attacked by 6 utahs so I sat in water and waited for them to take a wrong step, all together I killed seven of them because every time I killed one they just came back and I obviously couldn’t run away… I killed 3 from murdering them in water then I was about to starve anyway so I just got out and spammed everything until I died

This makes me proud to be a chill player. Who takes loss respectfully, and if a friend died from a hunt to stop the attack to give the hunter a chance to claim their well earned kill. They are actually! Already getting a system down *directly* for revenge killing! From what I heard it works well and should be in a future patch! :) A 20 min timer to any other creatures within a large radius. Anything outside that distance where you died or logged out, you're good to spawn in quickly. Least this is what I heard from others.

Theres a few locations on POT that are usually run by clans or groups of toxic friends. Literally will continue to come back with adult dinos to revenge kill, even if you didnt start the fight. Herbies are bad for it as always. Some small one will start a fight and then run to the bigger ones and make them think you started a hunt. But I still love the game because helping others grow and working as a group against players like that are so good. And just interacting with other nice players makes it worth while.

This is the biggest problem I've faced with Path of Titans. It's boring to play on your own, people KOS and revenge kill like its no one's business, and as much as the helping people out thing can be great, I've has so many negative experiences with other players. I specifically remember one occasion I grouped with randos. I did quests, but they wouldn't help. I did all the work on my own, got all the XP and when they got hungry/angry I took all the XP, they killed me. Another instance which was similar, joined a group, we did quest for a while, then all the sudden they kicked me and killed me.

As a Daspleto, if you are alone, you pretty much can't do much against other same tier dinos or bigger ones, but if you know what u do, then you can take them out easily, like you did against the ceratos and 2 concas, using water to your advantage, but against bigger stuff like Eo or allo when you are smaller than it, try to break their leg if they are coming after u and ya cannot run away, but with Eo, when I always try to hit it from behind, it will never break it's leg, and only breaks when I've hit the front of the Eo. But Cheirus, god, you better hope it's not out for blood but that's just imagination. But with Official servers, I've had enough of them... Me just trying to grow a Ano that's still a Juvi, gets ganged up by 2 ducks, allo and laten and victory roared and then in the chat them saying ''Noob Ano, git gud, skill issue''... At the same time really annoying and hilarious, since they think they have some sort of ''skill'' while having 2 dinos that don't require much or any brain power. But to put it simply, Pots balance is a mess at the moment, and I hope they balance things out when the combat update hits, that is after the AI critter and quests updates I think Besides all of this, your content is really good and entertaining :)

I'll vouch for Oasis #1 as other commenters have said. As long as the ping isn't awful for you (I play from Australia) the community is quite nice. Their rules are pretty similar to the likes of The Isle rules servers, so its an easy transition.

If anyone here is wondering how they are coming back so quick. I found that people will park a dude at the nearest way stones and TP everyone back to the nearest Way Stone. This means they have endless summon-able army that is non-stop coming back so long as there is marks; which I can only assume that they have lot of and have more then one Dinos parked there to do this with. The revenged killing with other Dinos has been limited but they are still able to use Way Stones to get around this. I did not record this, sadly... Which is my fault but if you take my word with any salt please be warned these groups are using the way stones to TP people around heavily to come back, or to maybe get around revenge killing.

You should try WWD. You’ll actually be able to have a family and herds and won’t get revenge killed or kosed, it’s a nice little realism server

yeah thats why I havent played on official in a while now. its just death, fighting, seeing who's ego is bigger, revenge killing ect. I got fed up with it really fast because you just couldnt enjoy the game. One time my friend and I were growing up allos, I was almost to adult and she was at adol. We say 2 deinos hunting something, they killed it, took 3 bites then ran across the whole area and started to attack us while we were questing. It was just annoying, to make it worse when I respawn I spawned near a waystone and waystoned my friend to me to get her out of the fight and as we walked away a laten came up and brought in 5 other latens and they proceed to attack us when we were trying to log out. But offcial is not where it at, its just mostly edge lords and ego jerkers that I only see on/in chat most of the time. I personally have been playing on the community servers for a while now really just waiting for the whole map to get opened back up again.

I like both aspects. Sometimes I like picking fights. Up until the last few months, my friends and I would hunt the hunters, but jobs and personal lives have kind of paused that at the moment.

I agree with your statements at the end of the video completely, 2B2V. A lot of players on this game still assume that it's all about combat, and killing other people. I've experienced this myself whenever I play Path of Titans, and it pisses me off too. Most of the time, I just want to actually _enjoy_ and immerse myself in the game, instead of engaging in pointless fights. I swear, both the revenge killing and kosing by players in Path of Titans is worse than what I've dealt with in The Isle by a landslide. This is also why I prefer The Isle over Path of Titans.

It's a shame you came across so many KOSers. On officials it will be tough unfortunately, but there are nice players too and that ending was awesome :) I was a juvi croc and an adult helped me get to sub, which takes AGES on official xD unfortunately I am solo most of the time...

That ending was wholesome. It is great that someone adopts the "help others out" mentality on officials, even if there are asswipes that will go out of their way to ruin your experience. And I agree with Mustached Pistacio. Might be better to move away from official to community servers that have a body-down rule. Personally, I have been playing on WWD (despite there being so many rules to keep up with) because it is a rules server that is not yet modded (on Linux, so literally can't join any modded servers until Alderon Games implements a more universal modding tool).

Why don't you try Walking With Dinosaurs Server, 2B. They had rules nearly the same as legacy. That or Pan Realism server. The people there is cool, and not toxic as the others servers. But the thing is you need apply some Shits to join WWD server, kinda pain in the ass, but it was worth it. Always Love your content, bro. Stay awesome, and take care 😉

This game is great, it's just a shame the community stinks that much. It makes it all the more enjoyable when some rare players do what you did at the end. Hunting for food is good, but being wholesome the rest of the time feels way more satisfying than mindless kosing

This was the reason I joined realism/semi-realism servers, it’s just so annoying to have trollers and mega packs killing you every time you try to get somewhere or do something. I would recommend checking out some of semi-realism and realism servers, ex. Walking With Dinosaurs, Pan realism, And many others, for me they are just a better over all experience of the game if you don’t like The chaos public servers have to offer lol

I really wanted to get this game, but literally every video I have seen of it, no matter how polite the player I'm watching is, there are always random people chasing them down to kill them for no reason. It seems like it would ruin the experience. :(
