I entirely agree with the statement about removing the targeting rule, was such a silly decision. Basically inviting toxicity through the door and offering it a cup a tea. I just see no reason on why it was removed, It was fair and easy rule to follow.

I haven't been on juniper , but the removal of the no targeting rule seems to have as you said encourage ....behaviors.... and being in the uk explains alot....literally half a world away

Yeah, my guess is that the amount of reports real and false were getting too much that they removed the rule. Having apexes land body shots when they are biting the tip of my tail on my screen is one of the most infuriating things xD

Yeah, laser-focused targeting can be frustrating when you just want to spar against different players... I don't mind getting "targeted" depending on the situation though. They end up creating a guaranteed 1v1 or team fight depending on the circumstances, I just end up keeping an eye out for them and adjusting my playable or teammates to accommodate them and create a pseudo sparring session. However, I had this "KOTH" (King-of-the-hill) playstyle where I would look for the popular grouping spots and "target" the area and try to hold it... but since the same apex care-bear people kept going back to it, they ended up aggro-ing me again while I was defending it. It ended up _looking_ like I'm targeting them, when in actuality, I would leave you alone if you didn't go into my "territory". The "No targeting" rule made this playstyle neigh impossible for solos like me to practice mega/mix-packs practicing for solos, so I'm kind of glad they removed it. You can also do other fun mind games when this happens, too. Like disguising as the nearby players so they end up attacking them instead and creating enemies with the entire server until they give up, like a big game of "where's waldo" with consequences. Or if they're in a group, disguise as one of them and try to assassinate them when they least expect it. If all else fails, you can always try to whisper to them and ask for a truce, or even offer to team up and look for fights together. Maybe you can turn an enemy into a friend that way! Just remember that the moment you step outside the marked spawn zones (The lily flower rings in Gondwa) You're fair game; anything goes.

What'd I like to see the devs or modders do is make a deathmatch mode where you build a team based on slots sizes and get matched against another team. For example, you can have a team of up to 10 slots, so you can Have 2 Apexes vs 3 Allos. Or you can have a Styraco and Stego VS a mix of 10 Camptos, Struthis and raptors. I'd love to see what kinds of team comps can come with restrictions like these.

I play on juniper a lot too and yeah removing the no targeting was such a bad move- also id love to see some fights with steg vs sucho! I have such a problem combating sucho bc theyre just fast enough to land claw barrage on my tail meanwhile i cant swing high enough to hit their face

Suchos are rough, because as you said, the claw barrage just shreds you and they're fast enough to keep up with you. If it's a sucho that is just spamming claw barrage, try to get damage early and then just run away from them until you think their barrage stacks have fallen off. Good suchos, same as allos though will bite you on tail between tail swings to try and get you to chase em, then they tail smack you till you die xD

Im wondering what you think about the new red glowing eyes for cera and Albert's berserker ability I personally really like it but I seen alot of people hatting on it for not being realistic even though this game is clearly a semi realism game but what's your opinion on this

Oh dear lord xD I dont usually do 1v1 duels often as it really isn't my style, that 1 particular allo still more the aggressor of just going after me and i defend just like a normal hunt would go, had they ran away i would not have chased them, it felt more organic of a fight than usual 1v1 duels

I was playing stego on jurassic meat 2 and got jumped by 4 suchos and managed to kill 3 of them and surviving on a 3rd health, i felt increadble afterwards

Yep, i saw the community post and already knew what would happen there.. Deathmatches can be fun to goof around and stuff.. but the giant groups can ruin sone fights. For things like 1v1s and stuff, i think theres a !friends command on gondwa juniper i think, that leads you to a 1v1 area, and another servers lke the small server "dinos and dragons" with a training area at saltflats. When i want to test my abilities i like to go in these

I wasnt particularly looking for 1v1s i should say, but that one allo was so chill i gave em what they wanted :) Untamed deathmatch also has commands for 1v1 arenas too by using !friends and !oldfriends :)

Yeah, the removal of the no targeting rule on Juniper has caused a lot of issues with player toxicity lately. I ran into a duo on the No Apex server who play sarco. They will go after the same solo player constantly, to the point of repeated spawn killing. I started playing sarco less and less on the No Apex server because of said duo (my sarco’s skin looks similar to the sarco they bully, so the mistake me for him a lot).

Yea that does not sound fun in the slightest, i also see alot of spawn killing anyway despite the spawn rules. Had a friend get banned for 24hrs because they got attacked then killed the attacker when they ran into the spawn.

Try to remember to rec for this exact reason. I had someone accuse me of spawn killing when really what happened was they spawned super close my friend and I doing a 1v1. The stranger was mad bc when they interrupted our 1v1, we target swapped and killed them. Luckily, an admin was watching the fight and their response was “respect the 1v1 and you wouldn’t die.” :)

I remember 3 pycnos tried to run a bully squad 1v3ing ppl they instantly bitched and moaned when i saw 1 iggy absolutely dog them lol then the whole server targeted them cause they kept being annoying winny and spawn killing

Yea this server really is one of the worst when it comes to targeting and toxic people lol, also the huge "cliff gang" is rlly annoying, I like to hop on eo and just BULLDOZE the life outta em lol. I remember when I was on Meg, I kept harassing this group of suchos and 2 got so mad they hopped on megs to try to kill me, in straight 1v1s I demolished them lol, but then they attacked at the same time, and I ran to the water, they chased me to the end of GP river and back, once i started to lose them, one got on sarc and had the other meg roar to alert my position, and even with sarc they still failed to kill me lol, I ran into the lil pond on the right side of GP river and back out and lost them. also srry for the whole essay lol
