Good looking out. Channels like yours would do well to get into these kinds of videos more often, as a lot of the high quality channels that do 5e builds are thinking about making the switch soon. Free archetype might be a good thing to consider continuing. Even if the GM doesn't allow it at their table, they'll still have most of your videos to work with, they just have to cut out the free archetype feats. More is better, etc. I think a lot of the people coming in from 5e like to multiclass and optimize, and if I were to take a guess, I would say that free archetype builds will be more popular.

@@AleSad80 I’m aware that it’s Latin but talking about pronunciation. It’s spelled magus (singular), magi (plural), and it’s pronounced may-gus. That’s what every dictionary and source I’ve been able to find says and what I was taught when I learned Latin in school.

I think it would of been helpful if you added what you have the attributes as numbers wise. A questiion i have tried to have answered by going to google but have no luck in doing.... How do you get weapon specialization? It seems the LS gets quite a bit of extra damage from having it, yet i can't seem to find out how i get it.

Some builds have a greater need for specific stats but I tend to leave flexibility wherever I can in a build to allow personal tweaking. As for weapon specialization it's a general class feature that all classes get. You don't need to select a feat or anything special you just get it when you hit typically level 7 and greater specialization at 15.

@@theebadluckgamer Oooooooh. Ok. I have played some p1e and I thought it might be the same as a feat pick. That makes it much easier. I'm new to p2e and am building a human Magus laughing shadow. Using a sword cane (dex based) more for flavor than anything. Just trying to make sure my damage Is up to snuff since I have only 10 strength. Tricky one since I'm new. Any tips?

Well remember that even if you are using a finesse weapon your damage will still be based on your strength. This shouldn't be much of an issue though since when you spell strike you add your spell casting modifier to most cantrips so your damage should be pretty competitive regardless of your strength.

@@theebadluckgamer Ah ok that's good to know. I'm basically trying all ways to find flatfooted against enemies in order to gain that extra damage.. I went for 12 char and deception as a trained skill in order to try feint sometimes. Worth doing?
