It's great to see someone making Pathfinder videos. I'm a diehard Pathfinder fan, and the overwhelming amount of D&D 5e content on youtube is deeply frustrating. Nice to know I'm not the only Pathfinder fan left.

Pathfinder is a fantastic system and much more interesting to talk about than 5e.
@HoundofOdin6 жыл бұрын
@@d6damage93 I could not agree more. Pathfinder's dozens of modules, hundreds of feats, and six bestiaries gives you more to talk about than 5e's handful of official material. And personally, I find Golarion far more interesting than Faerun or Eberron.

Liked and subscribed. It's really hard to find consistently good commentary on Pathfinder stuff. Have to wade through all the 5e content. Your videos are really appreciated!

Thanks for the tips! I knew a few of the old stand-by choices, but it's always good to get a reminder about some of the other useful options.

I was thinking about eliminating currency completely from the game. Having a need by need basis upon which every individual values specific things. Thus creating a barter supply and demand. A alchemist would value things differently then say a mining village , or a breadmaker. Thus driving the game forward by simple basic necessities. Including the need to eat.

I always find it funny when things, Big Hero 6 video, use science things, but don't check stuff, the 500 kelvin isn't really super heated since it is just over water's boiling point. Smoke pellets and sticks are the reason that my group thinks my accountant (really a bard) is actually an assassin. This was a great list. Keep it up. It always gives me ideas for my various characters.

Happy I could help. Even if a lot of this stuff isn't exceptionally useful, it's the little things that can really make a character.

I often wonder about alchemy items...As a GM how do you go about players crafting and making merchandise ? It gives you the DC to craft and the price but not cost like magical items.
@d6damage933 ай бұрын
In the skills section under Craft of the PF1 Core Rule Book it says convert the items cost to silver then pay 1/3 of the cost for raw materials. That applies to all craft checks including alchemic items.

As awesome as all of those things are, this video is about uses for the craft alchemy skill. Bombs, mutagens and extracts are all alchemist class features. I wanted to address the things that even a non alchemist class can do.

Homunculus? 250 gold for 1 hour? Can you at least retrieve it afterwards?
@d6damage936 жыл бұрын
The unfortunate thing about alchemy in Pathfinder is that a lot of this stuff isn't as useful as you want it to be. After the one hour is up, the homunculus is gone.
@colinsmith14955 жыл бұрын
@@d6damage93 You can craft a permanent homunculus, but it's a LOT more expensive (starts at 2,000 gp I think) and you (or the crafter) needs the Craft Construct feat.
