Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - How To MAGIC DECEIVER GUIDE (with AT Trickster)

Updated Mythic Feats (we do not need Corruptor and instead take Mythic Spell Focus early at Mythic 2 and afterward take extra Expanded Arsenals for more DCs)
Arcanist - Magic Deceiver
Race: Half Elf (Kindred Raised)
7 str, 14 dex 12 con 14 int, 9 wis 21+5 cha (Max CHARISMA ON LEVEL UPS)
Scholar Arcane or Pickpocket
skills: 4 in Arcana 4 in Trickery, 4 Mobility, 4 Stealth, 5 Knowledge world, 2 or more in Persuasion, and some UMD (for all the Prestige Classes)
Fake Celebrity / Time Manipulator are good choices
Leveling
1-2 Magic Deceiver
1 Spell penetration, Fake celebrity or Time Manipulator
3 Vivisectionist - Accomplished Sneak attacker
4-5 Deceiver
5 - Spell Focus Illusion,
Have at least 4 points into Trickey, mobility Stealth and Knowledge Arcana at this point.
(you can delay taking arcane Trickster here by a level and shove one Deceiveer level forward here if you are short) - but it's best not to delay Arcane Trickster leveling.
Skills Make sure to grab at least 2 points into Persuasion and 5 points into Knowledge: World as you are leveling Trickster
6-16 Arcane Trickster (Prestige)
7 Greater Spell Pen
9 Greater Focus Illusion
11 Improved Initiative
13 Ambuscating Spell
15 Elemental Focus Electricity
17 Deceiver - Feat Arcane Armor Training
18 Hellknight Signifier - Order of the Scourge
19 Sorcerer Crossbloded Blue Lightning Dragon/ Fey - Sorc bonus feat: Greater Elemental Focus Electricity
Normal Lvl 19 Feat: Improved Crit Ray, Spell specialization, or Lingering Performance
20 Deceiver or Vivisectionist - Discovery Cognatagon* * Feel free to take Deceiver here again instead of getting the 2nd level of Vivisectionist
If Chaotic and on Azata or Demon path and you want the small buff from Hellknight signifier push it to before going Arcane Trickster and going chaotic through mythic.
DOING THE VIVI SPLASH AND GOING ARCANE TRICKSTER IS OPTIONAL - if you want faster spell progression just stay mostly pure, take the feats I listed but take 1 Level of Crossblodded Sorcerer Blue/ Fey to up damage and DC, and the Signifier boost is nice from a min-maxing standpoint but also up to you.
Items: Zon Kuthon's Suffocating caress, Stormlord's Resolve, any enchantment/illusion DC boosting gear
Best Mythics: Azata / Demon, Trickster, optional (no mythic merge) : Lich
IMPORTANT!! - take Lich Dance Macabre /Undead for the first two mythic levels to get channel negative energy to use with Cloak that boosts enchantment DC after you channel energy.
Mythic Progression:
For Expanded Arsenal DC staking, it is important to take FIRST Mythic Spell Focus in the school you have when leveling in with your feat selection: in my case in the build above it is Illusion. So first to start stacking DCs on extra schools you should take "Mythic Spell Focus: Illusion (or whatever you chose when leveling be it enchantment etc) and then after taking Mythic spell Focus taking expanded Arsenal in the mythic progression for other schools.
1 Abundant Casting
2 Mythic Spell Focus Illusion (or anything you selected when leveling)
3 Last Stand ** : you want to live right? in case of unlucky situation
4 Improved Abundant : a must
5 Ascendent Lightning: almost a must, greatly eases any damage issues
6 Expanded Arsenal: Transmutation or Evocation
7 Elemental Barrage / or Expanded Arsenal: Transmutation or evocation
8 Improved Initiative Mythic
9 Rapture Restraints or Expanded Arsenal Enchantment
10 Expanded Arsenal Enchantment
** you can move Ascendent Lightning up to 3 or 4 if you can live without Last Stand a bit longer - it's nice to get earlier
++ take your first school mastery at mythic 3-6 (has to be the one you chose when leveling up ie in my case Illusion, after that take as many "Expanded Arsenals" to other schools as you want for increasing stacking bonuses (as of latest patch).
