Tbh , any defence expert would advice against su 57! There is a reason why india opted out of this program . This jet is powered by 4th gen engine which is not that capable. The engine hose are not covered and the jet overall is not that stealthy ! The only advantage with this jet is that russia is a reliable partner . Thats all. Pakistan has access to chinese j35 and turkish kaan jets . To counter them , india needs F35 but it will be very difficult since USA wont sell this jet to a country which is operating russian S -400. Plus there will be many strings attached with F35 purchase . India is facing a crisis due to its sluggist AMCA developement and the only option left is to go for su 57 which is not even a good 5th gen fighter.

first we effort for f35 because russia is busy in ukraine war otherwise we have the only option for su57 thats it. f35 is small in size and have fastest speed in comperison with all other 5th gen fighter get but we also want transfer of technology if usa is not give 80% of stealth 5th gen transfer of technology then we have the only option that is SU -57.
