Thank you for this tutorial, it works relatively well! Very useful for creating roads from a GoogleMap-type map. I agree with the other comments regarding the glitches: it makes the video hard to follow. It's also unfortunate that the result isn't faces; you need to rebuild the geometry afterward. A possible improvement: by using the 'Capture Attribute' + 'Radius', 'Sample Nearest', and 'Sample Index' nodes, it's possible to use the 'Radius' parameter of the curves to create paths of different widths. 👍

great tutorial but i had trouble with the video constantly glitching for some reason

Thanks for the tutorial! Then how to reconstruct faces now paths are merged? I would like to apply a tiling texture so it can be roads (but i think i should also need to detect intersections to add another texture depending on number of intersections - maybe is there a better approach?) For the mic : you need to check your levels. Think like a tiny box in a bigger box : your mic level is the tinyer box inside the main level, the big box. So you need to check that your mic entry level stays in green values, then that your main level in OBS also stays in green, so it doesn't clip for input and output.

Good tutorial, if you go into OBS and apply a filter to your audio in, probably a limiter and noise suppression and maybe equalizer and you'll get a far cleaner audio

Your mic is probably ok for this job. You just need to have it a little further away from your mouth. The other thing is level. This sounds like record level distortion. You need to lower the record level. Then, if your dialogue sounds quiet at first playback, you should have the option to turn it up in the edit. I think most people would prefer a slightly less clear sound (further away) instead of clipping (crunchy sound). Good luck with the channel!

Can you suggest the level of recording that is better for thus situation?....also thanks for the advice

Great tutorial! Perhaps look into getting a new microphone. There was a lot of peaking and it sounded really bad. But thanks for the info. Was very helpful.

hi great work! thx for sharing, i think at around minute 8, at the extrude edge node, you ccould plug directly the capted normal into the offset vector blue input

@@cgdoctor8241 wow that's so cool, how did you learn? Do you manage to make some money with geo nodes. I'm learning geo nodes but the amount of time needed vs time I need to actually work is a lot. I'm not so technically minded, but good in regular blender and 3d (I'm an architect). You are really skilled. Keep it up. And good to see other people from Africa in this space. 🙌🇿🇦🇹🇿🌍
