Pro Tip. I am from Kokan region of Maharashtra where fish is a steple diet. Instead of adding salt to marinate, apply salt on fish and keep it for an hour. Then wash them clean. This way the salt penetrates the fish. After you are free to apply any marination of your choice. This way the flesh does not feel bland. This is how the fish is cooked for generations in the costal region.

Mr prashant yes what you are saying is the right we do all that we just do show it the fish I use are always fresh n cleaned properly with salt like you said and yes I do marination in stages I add salt as it gives a bit kick to the fish speeds up the cooking process but thank you so much for the feedback...

This might be a great recipe but unfortunately this dish is not from Patiala. I can say this bcoz I am from that region, In Patiala & Punjab the most used & preferred fish is “Singhara” & “Malhi”. Along with that the cooking method is either fry or tandoori tikkas.
@dhawprateek2 жыл бұрын
This is fried fish only but pan fry just used a different technique and yes the most used fish is catfish which we call singhara, carp and rohu mostly freshwater fish but I wanted to try different fish cause these fishes are not available everywhere I tried this recipe in a restaurant in Patiala do try making it you will be amazed

@dhawprateek2 жыл бұрын
Relax boys thank you both but Mr sujay the name is not farzi it's an actual old dish it's made with cottage cheese n chicken I made an innovation to try creating a different taste and with fish it turned out awesome there is a place in patiala called falauli do try making this dish as fish is a staple food of Bengalis you will definitely enjoy a different flavour feel
