I was misdiagnosed with ME for 10 years, I didn't accept my diagnosis either but spent those years in terrible pain. I refused to take pain medicine because I had young children and wanted to be present and not drugged out all the time. It ended up that I have a genetic neuro-muscular disease that I now control with medication. It sucks that I spent all those years in pain when one pill would have taken it all away. I love Ren, he speaks for so many of us.

This song was made for a documentary on people with Chronic fatigue syndrome and autoimmunity The documentary won prizes. Ren was in it briefly as one of those people battling unhelpful health systems

This is my favorite Ren song. Been on repeat since he announced he was sick again. This is from the documentary "Unrest" about chronic fatigue syndrome | M.E. This is from 2014/2015. He still didn't have a good diagnosis. This song brings me to tears and I don't mind. So beautiful....This is my preferred version of this song. The studio version is good, this is perfect. That last chorus and the strength and defiance is everything. This was like the 2nd or 3rd Ren song I found after Hi Ren.

This was before his Lyme disease diagnosis and when he was told there is nothing wrong with him, it is all in his head. Luckily he wouldn't accept that and continued to find answers. Great reaction!

Me is chronic fatigue syndrome. But he was misdiagnosed for years. To the point he was hallucinating and couldn't eat.

He has been through so much, misdiagnosis for many years, just want him to be healthy and happy but he's struggling again at the moment in terms of with his health. This song makes me cry, its so beautiful. I love this man, been through too much sht 😢❤❤

To me this is a fight song. When you need something to help you stand up straight, lift your head, and face whatever comes. For a young man and a guitar this song is full of depth and strength. I wonder if he realizes he made this happen.. he fought through and conquered. He's still bruised and battered and may never be fully healed but he fought for his life and won. I'm ridiculously proud of someone I've never met.

The go to diagnose when they don't know what is wrong with you. "You are fatigued, tired, can't eat and are dwindling away, it must be ME". Take these pile of pills and see me again in a month
