This song absolutely breaks my heart into a million pieces! Tyler wrote it in memory of his Grandma, who passed recently, as well as tying it into the plot of of the Arcane Netflix series. There's always at least a dozen layers of meaning behind everything TOP does, and I love then to death for it! ❤️

Arcane is an animated TV show made by Riot Games, based on their game League of Legends, and distributed by Netflix (NOT produced or made, Netflix is solely distribution and advertising, though most of advertising is also Riot). It was planned for two seasons and is now complete, but Riot will be making more shows set in different locations of their game world. If you like good music, it's got a huge variety of great music of basically every genre. ALL the songs in it are written for it, including this one (11 in season 1, 22 in season 2), almost always to scene and from or about characters' POVs like a chorus (this one for Viktor, who appears in the video). Imagine Dragons' song Enemy was written for it (the official music video is awesome btw and is animated like the show) and is both the theme/title song for the show as well as the song for S1 episode 5, as was Linkin Park's Heavy is the Crown for S2 episode 1. That song was written for the show by Mike in partnership with Arcane's music team, and when he was bringing Linkin Park back he asked them if he could make it a Linkin Park song too. So there's two versions of the song, a more subdued one for the show and one for the band. It, like The Line, is about a specific character from the show. Oh, and the song for the finale of Season 1 features Sting, because they thought his voice would be best. So they got him. Because I guess they can just do that. It's got Woodkid on both seasons, if you're familiar with him. To list just a few of the artists tapped (many of the songs are written by the show's music team, and the artists were brought in later after things were finalized), season 1 also features people like Bones UK, Pusha T (yes really), and Denzel Curry. Season 2 has Ashnikko, d4vd, and Stray Kids (yes really).

You should definitely watch the show, don’t need to know anything about the game and the game is…. Not the best imo

As just an Arcane fan who just heard of the band thanks to this song. I like that many TOP fans are getting interested about the show because of the song, tho is kinda funny also because this video only has scenes from the last episodes lol. Anyway really recommended, it's a really good watch even if you don't nothing from the game

Arcane is a Netflix series based on the game League of Legends, it's supposed to be the history before the game, the series captures mental health topics, the storyline is top tier, the characters are perfectly written and the best thing...the animation, a mix of 3d and 2d, cgi and hand-drawn, some say the best animated series of all time. A lot of people miss out on it just because it's based off LoL but it's a masterpiece. Apparently the creator of the show is a tøp fan as well as tyler being a fan of the series since season 1, but anyways, the creator wanted tyler to write a song for it, the soundtrack which is also perfectly fitting for the show, each moment, each scene. Tyler wrote this song for the show but some say it also has relation to the actual tøp lore, also, Tyler's grandma passed away basically around the time the arcane team asked tyler for a song, so some lyrics may also be related to that. Basically the whole context for it and i would definitely recommend watching arcane even if you don't have knowledge about the game, it doesn't matter, for example, i didn't and most that watched it and loved it, didn't either. The founder of the group, MCA (the other Adam) is who passed away due to some rare kind of throat/mouth cancer of some sort. R.I.P. Their best stuff is from their bootleg albums if you can get ahold of them. Completely unfiltered off the top!
