Absolutely right. We have to be efficient in our clinical practice and making sure we ask only relevant questions and probe the patient rather than just gather information from them is the basic tenet of physiotherapy assessment.

Agree, very hard to do in the beginning as a starting physio. We don't use the RPS form in the clinical but have it in the back of our minds during patient-history taking.

First thing people say is to reduce pain but if you keep asking (and also what research shows) is that people seek advice if they are impaired in their meaningful activities
