Did he ever get a test or did they just treat him as a victim like his wife said. They treated him as he had covid-19. I interpreted that as no test was done.
@madscience80824 жыл бұрын
Not a miracle, it's very consistent with the data. In fact, according to the best data we have from the most comprehensive testing in the world (in Iceland and South Korea), for every 1 person with the infection that needs to be hospitalized, there will be 49 positives with mild symptoms, and 50 positives with no symptoms at all. Only around 1% of the infected population becomes seriously ill. Half will not even get sick and will have no idea they are carrying it. So technically, he could have 20 other families living with them, they could all be infected, while he's the only one with severe symptoms, and that would still not be surprising, nor a miracle. The fact that nobody else in his family is seriously ill is actually what we would expect based on the best data we have at the moment

Countries like South Korea and Taiwan are much closer to China with far more Chinese travellers coming in and out yet they were still able to better prepare given much less time. At present there are only 322 cases of covid in Taiwan. That’s a population of 23.7 million all packed on a small island. People wear masks. Schools and businesses are still open. I’ve been telling young people all along not to take this virus lightly even though the media and government officials keep saying that only the elderly and those with underlying conditions (which includes people of all ages by the way) have to worry about it. I knew from my bouts with the seasonal flu as a young relatively healthy person that a virus can be absolutely brutal even if you’re young, and I noticed early that young people were ending up in the hospital on ventilators as well as a result of this virus.

Anyone who knows how to plot dots on a graph has been called fear mongers, paranoid , preppers etc . Luckily I got a few friends out of the stock market before the crash because I was able to scream at them long enough that they understood Jim Cramer and friends had totally lost touch with reality. Oil was at $30 and as everything grind ed to a halt "they " kept saying " I think we will come in at 1 or maybe even 0 GDP......These people should never again, advise anyone ever about anything !

Another case where the key coved 19 symptom “shortness of breath, trouble breathing” assessed as a cold????? You do not get shortness of breath with a cold and you don’t need a medical degree to know that especially in the midst of a pandemic! WHY are people being wrongly “assessed” at these clinics or over the phone, this is very concerning....

I’m 32 with no underlying conditions having trouble breathing with a “cold” and I can say the only ones taking me seriously are the doctors at my family doctors clinic. I think everyone else is trying to keep the panic down knowing the result is the same. Self isolation until symptoms are so bad that you need medical attention or you recover. They can’t help you with medication. Only to treat the symptoms and hope you survive.

Even though i was there for 3 hours and one lady and 2 men that came in way after me went inside while I'm still waiting patiently and when i tried to ask why am i not called no one gave me an answer until finally a nurse said you need a special room ( without even looking at me). Maybe because I'm wearing a hijab or they were having a bad day, I don't know. I mean I get they're risking their lives to save others but why be rude to patients?. And for this beautiful couple i pray the husband will go home to his family safe and sound.
