Patient who's complaining of severe headaches, increased fatigue and significant neck pain.

🚨 👉 You're called to a six-year-old female patient who's complaining of severe headaches and increased fatigue and significant neck pain.
You arrive to find the child in her bed with the lights off and when you turn the lights on, she's clearly in distress and in pain.
She's pale, tired and obviously in a lot of pain, she has a fever of 38.9 C, which is 103 F and is not drinking many fluids or eating.
Here are her vitals:
Skin is pale,
LOC is alert but fatigued,
Eyes are PEARRL,
BGL is normal
and temperature is above.

❓ And is this patient is currently in a compensated or decompensated state of shock?

Meningitis. Fluid to get the BP up. I would just do a fluid challenge 10-20ml/kg. I would also auscultation lung a few minutes after administering fluid. Monitor her heart and ECO2, and have O2 on standby if needed. I would also do a EKG just to cover any bases and make sure there isnt something separate that could be causing the tachycardia. Toradol to help with fever and pain. Monitor the pts A&O during transport to see if there are any changes and update the hospital entroute if any changes happen. Correct me if in wrong 😂😅

?meningococcal, administer benzyl penicillin, physical for rash.

Would you use toradol instead of Benadryl for pain and fever reduction? Also, I like adding the EKG, I hadn't considered that.
