Thanks to the limited skills I've picked up here, I qualified for the Decathlon final with the mixed sealed event and the drafts in Vow and Zendikar, all fun! Saved my gold for the past week+ to try a few practice rounds, and oof I'm in way over my head! First Cube of any sort, and unfamiliar with most of the cards, I think you can expect to face a lot of noobs like me. 0-3 on giant random Golgari creatures first, 3-3 getting my mana curve back to normal with a decent Dimir control, 1-3 disappointingly attempting Izzet spells, and finally 6-3 with a solid Azorius control deck. Cube is hard! Don't love the Arena economy as usual, cool to get a few old cards as a guaranteed reward, really they should be giving packs alongside the gold, but loving the play experience, so it's worth it. Great to be able to stop by and hone my skills while the event is still running, I'll be playing more, I'm sure.

Last game when they had Anax and played Torbran I got serious PTSD from back when Mono Red dominated Standard with those cards... Embercleave woulda been the icing on the cake there, lol. Funny how all those cards are in this cube

Man when I saw the Skysovereign, Consol Flagship I geeked. My favorite deck back in the day was mardu vehicles. Won so many games with that, it just slaps. Then harvester was there!!! Ooof, crew the sovereign with a 1/1 LOL. Ill draft tomorrow if I have time, I want to play some of those cards in limited format for sure given the opportunity

I drafted this cube yesterday, p1p1 Approach lol The deck is a 5 color monstrosity with Approach, The Eldest Reborn, Demonic Tutor, Time Warp, Golos, Field of the Dead and some other awesome stuff. It's doing 2-0 atm (won both games with Approach). Arena Cube is incredibly fun as always

I think I would have played the last turn of the first game differently. Foretold the epiphany and played the hermit to stave off the lethal devils again. They either commit mana to kill the hermit and don't have enough to one shot you again for a turn....or they have to play it for less for the tax anyway. Either way I think it gets you to the next turn. Though the mastery play off epiphany is still reasonable.
