Is there a way to hide these added units for a printable report? Because it doesn't make sense if printed for reporting checking the work.

Actually they make perfect sense, it is the empirical formula itself that makes little sense outside the context of its explanatory notes. Why not just add a comment explaining the nature of the equation and units?
