Just returned to Australia after a months holiday in Phuket, Krabi, Koh Lipe and Chiang Mai. Almost stayed at Four Points but will definitely go there next time! Love Thailand, on this occasion really enjoyed my stay in Patong, it can get a bad wrap but I don’t mind it at all…

The best time to visit Koh Samui for great beach weather, less rain, and less crowds is between February and June, September, and early December. Of these, February and March are the driest months of the year while May and September might see a few heavy showers.

Wow. It seems strange to have Paddy Doyle in my old home for many years. Strange in a good away (-: Admittedly, I find it hard to believe that in all your years in the Land of Smiles that you've never been to Phuket before. Did I hear that right? People constantly say Patong is very expensive, but away from the upmarket venues it's no more expensive than any of the prime Thailand tourist destinations. And if you go back a few streets the whole pricing for everything changes. I love Koh Samui but Patong not only has a nice beach but also the ever changing Bangla to keep nighttime ventures always exciting. There's also quieter bar areas around if you need them. And of course Phuket is not just Patong. Phuket has over 30 beaches each beach with its own distinct personality. Like Kamala beach and Kata beach to name a few. ENJOY Mr Paddy.

I found when I rented a car and drove around Phuket I was so easily able to find quiet places to stop and relax. Has it picked up much since January as it was dead quiet when I was driving around Phuket in Jan 2022.

PADDY DIDN'T SHOW YOU EVERYTHING. Wonderful video. Tastefully done. I sent it to my Mom and she said: "After watching the video I wanted to go to Phuket. But knowing what I already know I WOULDN'T". Four Points looks great. I didn't know it was such a nice hotel. And I will have to try the Pad Thai stall. I usually ignore all of that street food because of hygiene. But you really did a service for that guy! :)

Love Phuket,Love Patong. I've had some great times there. I like to use Phuket/Patong as my base when travelling around SE Asia. I'm not into the haters, horses for courses I reckon. Three of my best holidays to Thailand was spent in Patong years ago but the prices on almost everything has skyrocketed since then especially Bangla rd ,But i do miss the place .But you made the jet ski hire out a doddle Paddy .But it's far from that on what i witnessed a few times whilst spending my days on the beach 🤦‍♂️.To anyone thinking about it .Take photos of the jet ski and fully inspect it in ''Full view '' of the Thai guys, and rub your hands over the thing where you think there might be a cover up paint job that gets washed off during the ride .Then you will be ok .Massive fines on so called damage often happens and the police are often in on it .Be warned .Sorry Paddy🙏 but i had to say because it's not nice to watch people getting ripped off 😏🤷‍♂️Loved watching your journey mate .Thanks 🙏

Yes mate, hit the beach for some cheap street food, thats what we did, you can also go to the local markets at some days to get those nice Thai delectables 😋 Anyhow, still looks the same at pating as backnin 2014 and 2017. Back in 2017 i was a 10 days near Karon beach and we Explorer the island by bike, taxi and bus. Such a amazing peace of Thailand 👊 old phuket town i a not to miss place with so many great street vendors and beautifull architecture. Awesome video. I have been to Phuket many times, also trained at Tiger Muay Thai. Personally I like the Karon beach and Kata beach. The duck at Patong shopping centre is the best duck we had. Will be going back soon.

Patong Beach is In Phuket but only a very small part of Phuket yes great for a night out with the sirens especially Soi Sea Dragon. Phuket is the Second wealthiest Province in Thailand and has more high-grade Tourist accommodation than any Province in Thailand, Its a Shame all the tourists that film these videos always choose Patong Beach, The Portuguese built Phuket Town is one of the Island's best-kept Secrets and I could show this guy Isolated Beaches here that people dream about, Phuket is roughly the same size as Singapore with an Indigenous population of Half a million unlike Singapore's 5 million,so if you visit people Hire a Guide to show you around this Beautiful Island its well worth the money especially the Sun Sets on Kata Noi beach that are easily videod you won't be disappointed.............We All Love Phuket.
