Pizza and beer, that would be the ruin of me on a night out, for me that is the definition of bloated. I can do either/or no problem but bread and beer is bloated belly time for me. What is great about these blogs is the people watching and experienced authentic commentary, very much like being in a bar watching the world go by, which used to be 90% of what I used to do on holiday in Thailand, just relax in a bar, and watch the world go by. I’ve always had problems with pizza in non-Western countries. Thailand is no exception. Calling basically sandwich meat “sausage”, cheese seems different, sauce isn’t season as expected. That being said, I’m not in Thailand or other locations to eat pizza. I go with local food most of the time. However sometimes there’s fellow travelers wanting food from home, or locals who want to show you they’ve opened up to experiencing Western food. Worst pizza I ever had goes to Fiji, Thailand is runner-up.

This one was definitely a 'Thai take' on a pizza. There was hardly any sauce on the base and it definitely wasn't seasoned. I was pouring on the herbs and chilli flakes like no tomorrow. Thanks for your comment Tim and thanks for watching.

You need baht. Some MIGHT accept American dollars. And in certain places they might take Chinese Yuan. But you're gunna get raped on the exchange rate. Bring a card and use atms.

Great video. I had the pizza at a shop on the beach road. Looks like the same one you had and it had very little flavor too. Looked good but very bland. I’ve been to Patong 30 times it used to be good however after someone suggested trying Pattaya 5 years ago I havnt been back to Phuket it is more suited to holiday making couples and Pattaya is like 100 times more action as well as the luxury hotels and many beaches and islands ie Koh lan , Koh Chang etc it’s just better value and more options , we are currently in lockdown however there’s still plenty to keep one occupied
