That can actually work against him. KZbin has a way of dececting fraudulent clicking of ads and will actually remove some of the ad revenue from the content creator if it happens. Before Patreon was a thing, KZbinrs would often tell people to NOT click the ads unless they actually wanted to because doing so actually put a serious dent in their income. Unfortunately, there's not much you can do other that keep AdBlocker turned off if you are unable to support his Patreon, but I really don't think Xidnaf will mind if you are unable to actively give him money.

I'd like to see more videos before I decide to pledge money...even though it's per video. And it might be just me but it seems a little arrogant to believe that you can make something you hardly do your full-time job and expect others to support you out of faith. Usually KZbinrs get a little bigger I feel before calling it their career. Edit: That said I hope he does well and if the videos start rolling out consistently I'll hopefully be supporting him.

Lucky for him, he doesn't need to you to decide cause he already reached his goal. I don't see at all how it's arrogant to think that you can do something that you've been able to do in the past just because you've been unable to do it recently. Before he started collage, Xidnaf was actually relatively consistant with his uploads. Also, 100 K is almost ALWAYS the point when KZbinrs start calling it their career. I don't know what channels you've been watching that wait sugnificantly longer, but the vast majority start calling KZbin their job at around 100,000 subs.

Well you see out here in the real world, if you haven't done something for a while you generally take a pay cut. If I'm unable to do something for a while and decide that I suddenly need my job to pay me more...even though I haven't so much as shown up and said hi at work since I last did something...my boss isn't going to hire me back and give me a full ride...I'm going to get a probationary period. So sorry if I think it's arrogant that someone can just go on the internet and be all "My dad quit his job I need money guys, pay me a living wage, I swear I'll work" That's why I said I'd have given him a while to prove his conviction. And yes I'm not very empathetic because I've been poor all my life until I got job and I'm still scraping by...I can't afford to take time off for school, give up, just to ask the internet for money.

It's PER VIDEO. So he has to actually work and put up a video to get the money. We don't have to trust that he'll work for the money, becuase he *HAS* to work for the money by definition.

But like he said he's never done this seriously before...and he just told us all the stuff he got wrong and that he doesn't even pronounce lots of the stuff right. So, if the quality of the videos don't take a dive (lol! I guess I mean content) then I'll support him as well. But to expect to start at a wage that will fulfill all his needs doesn't seem to give much incentive to improve...but again just my opinion.

Ever since pot became legal here, we've been having a *TON* of people move in from out of state which has driven the cost of living up exponentially. It's actually because of that that there are now a lot of native Coloradians who hate people who move to Colorado when they weren't born here; becasue they are the reason that it now costs so much money to live here.
