Personally i think the main point of the "read in your head" from the perspective of a middle school teacher is just another way to say "pay attention" since reading along in your head forces you to pay attention

To add to the Question about Morphman at 30:25 I feel like what Matt didn't take into consideration was the fact that you don't need to immerse to get cards with Morphman, and if you use it with a Frequency list, it will always give you the most frequent Words first. So for me, i only get about 2-5 Cards from an Episode of Anime, because i intentionally don't mine Words that are too Rare frequency wise. So i would need to watch 5-10 Episodes before i would get my 25 Cards i want to do each day. While i agree that these Cards are better, i just feel like Morphman is a good "filler" for times when you can't immerse and mine manually, to still learn words from Anime that you've already watched. So in that sense it "saves" quite a lot of time.
