Matt, I have to say that you are doing an amazing job with this channel. It will be interesting where you will take it from here. I have to say this has become a more regular stop as of late and that is due primarily to your excellent band histories which I watch multiple times. What makes them so great is the excellent format where you make the information so clear and digestible in an entertaining and satisfying way. I can tell that you have been diligent in your research and I don't hear the obnoxious hype so often associated with this type of channel. The content is adult and very well presented. I think you have perfected this. Also, your intelligent and measured work surrounding the Beatles is also why I am here. Thank you for this.

My forte would be picture sleeves that never were and label designs that never were. I'd start by taking the Stones idea and having the Beatles dressed in drag for a picture sleeve for "Get Back" (American version only as pic sleeves were available for the single in many other countries).

I'm very much looking forward to the Jefferson Airplane series, that will take a few parts. Their history is long and involved. I like Jefferson Starship just as much. This morning I was listening to a song by the KBC band, another off-shoot. I was lucky enough to catch the Airplane on their reunion tour, loved it and I love the album, don't care what critics say.

I skipped the reunion concert because I chose to see the Who and I couldn't afford both. I wish I had chosen the Airplane because that was Grace's last stand. I have that KBC album too - I've always liked it.

@@popgoesthe60s52 The Who was my first ever concert back in '81 on the Face Dances tour. The J.A. concert was at an amusement park in CT, Marty was late so instead of having a Hot Tuna mid-show break they had that upfront. Grace joined them for a couple of songs such as 'Third Week in the Chelsea'. It seemed appropriately disorganized.

It would be interesting if you sold some of these or made more on commission. I would definitely be interested in buying that Beatles Drug Songs LP you made that was based on Beatles Love Songs. Just an idea since I've never really scene custom vinyl art like this before. All the designs are pretty cool, jealous of the winners!

So did you major in design or graphic art in college? The covers you designed are not just fan art, your covers are brilliantly done and very of their time, right down to the typeface used on the covers and the black and white graphics on some of the rear cover. They definitely don't look amateur at all.

Thank you. I have a design background that became part of my profession in marketing; print design mainly. I went to a university that didn't offer an art degree, so I had to learn on the job.
