It makes me sad that Patrice never realized that he wasn't even comparable to his peers. He was always a man of the people... while he may not have been a household name in the entertainment industry, he had genuine admiration of people that "got" him. RIP

I think thats why He was so great i Heard colin quinn once say Patrice would talk to the ceo of a Network the same way He would talk to the janitor or something to that effect but i think once you suck up to the industry to make it its countdown until you suck Bill burr is a good example for that He sucks now

I still haven't heard anyone verbally describe life the way Patrice O'Neal had like... EVER!!!

If only this was a true "midlife crisis" and not an "almost finished your life because of your health issues" crisis. The world could have used another 30 or 40 years of your insights.

I know man, listening to these is already eerie. And then its even worse when hes talking about a midlife crisis like a year before he dies 😥 makes you wanna cry, at least were all still listening to him. RIP to one of the greats

Interesting patrice passed shortly after starting the healthy vegan crap.

Not really, Patrice was Obese 99.9% of his life, eating unhealthy crap the entire time but for a blink of an eye almost at the end. It's almost miraculous he lived as long.

@@andrewbinns5035 "clearly" Maybe. Maybe not. You have no idea and none of the rest of us do, either. We don't know how long he had that vegan diet for or how strict he was with it. Even if we did, we can't draw conclusions like that. There's no room for "clearly" here.

Aw, Patrice. This one bummed me out a bit. Not sure what they did with his remains, I wonder if his oil was what got me to McDonald's and back.

@@Nythingelse he’s not wrong, I think Patrice knew he didn’t have long to live. He just had a comedic way of accepting his fate. No one really recovers from diabetes, you eventually just pass away.

His best appearance for sure. Some of the realest shit I've ever heard on the radio. Very depressing that he died so soon after
@tylerm00892 жыл бұрын
wow. what a shame Patrice had these rather low (especially opie) intelligence comedians to talk to for the most part. They could have really asked Patrice what was going on in his life... Im pretty sure Patrice said 5 times he's not having a midlife crisis, but O and A just keep bringing it up. He just stressed out with life. Dude was about to die any month/ year from now, he even says many times how he thinks he'll die early and he had diabetes plus who knows. They just seem clueless and Patrice has no one else so he puts up with them,, God bless him. Anyone can be depressed at any time. Stay healthy folks, God bless us all.
