Patricie Janečková byla nadána mimořádným talentem, byla krásnou ženou a vedle toho všeho dokázala být skromná a neokázalá. Skladby doprovozené jejím zpěvem jsem vždy rád vyhledával a vyhledávat budu. Přijde mi však hrozné psát o ní v čase minulém - člověk se z médií sice dozvídá smutné zprávy o úmrtí nejrůznějších osobností, avšak nestává se, aby se mi při čtení takové zprávy tlačily slzy do očí. Tentokrát se to stalo. Patricie, děkujeme za to, že jsi svým uměním pomáhala dělat tento svět lepším. Prostřednictvím nahrávek a záznamů tu s námi zůstaneš navždy. Budu Tě dál nosit ve svém srdci.

Last hours spent comparing Patricia's "O mio babbino caro" with Maria Callas performance of the same which is reference I must admit. Same thrill, Patricia little bit higher but controlled, not raising too high like many soprano "legends" today. Accompanying instruments nowadays too present in complete picture. We lost two when we lost Patricia 😢 😥!! You know what I mean.
