Absolutely beautiful and skillful to do this i couldn't imagine where to even begin.
I would pin her up against any mainstream singer or Amira and they would blow them away for real.
True skill vs Auto tune you know what im saying.

Patricia was an angel with a voice that was sublime. This technique is known as coloratura and she is excellent. Sadly she was taken from us all too soon. RIP Patricia.

Patricia is a fabulous young singer.. and I love this performance of hers. From some years ago. She has battled cancer the past few years so bravely and is back performing. Beautiful young woman with a beautiful voice. She deserves a lot more attention than she gets. Look forward to you reacting to more of Patricia's videos.

@@SammyOneThumb Do so for sure. She definitely deserves your support. She has studied singing in a conservatoire and sung in operas. She's only in her early twenties. She too first came to public attention in a competition when she was not much older than Amira. I've had great pleasure and awe following her, Amira, Angelina Jordan .. and another young girl Alma Deutscher since they were kids. Now Alma Deutscher is in different category and league of her own. She is a child classical composer, solo violinist and piano player, and lately is also conducting her own compositions. I suggest you'll be gobsmacked if you Google her and read up on her before I suggest some of her playing some of her own compositions on video to react to. She is one of a kind. A classical composer since age 4, who is adamant that beauty should be returned to classical music as in the past decades atonal has dominated, and in music schools teaching also. She is a year younger than Amira. Amira when very young, she 11, Alma 10, sang together in a charity concert a duet from Alma's already composed by then opera called Cinderella. There is a video of that on KZbin. . Alma is one of those musical genius's that only a few, if even more than one of, appear in any century. She is unique.

Sammy... I'm sorry to let you know that wonderful Patricia having fought a battle with breast cancer last year, got back performing earlier this year, got married, but alas on 1st October 2023 she died aged only 25. Such a sadness and loss to her family and friends, and loss of all the future performances that should have been from her for her many fans.. RIP Patricia 😔

Wow that is sad only 25 I have been a bunch of comments about this. My heart goes out to her family and friends and all the wonderful fans like you who feel saddened by this loss. With her passing it kinda makes me want to do a mini documentary on her life since I have reacted to her before. What do you think should I try?

Yes, do try.. You don't have to be an opera expert to appreciate her. She brought many new people to enjoy this type of music and genre who know little or little about it like myself. Her wonderful performances will always be there and people always always discovering and admiring and enjoying them.

I'm glad you finally found Patricia. She is a favourite opera singer of mine, with many performances for you to listen to. She can probably do this aria so well, acting as a mechanical doll, because she actually is an opera singer who can act and sing at the same time, and usually smiles while she is doing it. She has a remarkable voice and brings great dynamics to her singing. She also has great stage presence. There are many videos that you could choose. I personally would like to see you do Mein Herr Marquis from 2016, or any version of Fruhlingsstimmen. You mentioned Amira, and I love her as well, so am happy to have you react to either.

It is with Great sadness the ( The Goddess of Song ) MRS Patricia Janeckova has unfortunately passed away on Oct 1st of 2023 at the Age of 25 due to aggressive cancer. The Joy & Light 🕯️ She Brought to this world has been extinguished. Yet her Tremendous amount of work will never fade away !!!! Glad you've caught up with Patricia... she is a phenomenal young singer who won a talent show Talentmania when she was 12 ---- she is now 24 or 25 this year this was from a while ago ... I think she was 18 on this ( but I'm not completely sure) You would be better to call this the doll aria as its affectionately known. She wouldn't allow herself to be steered away from opera when 12/13 by her vocal coach and fired her. She then found a coach to stay with opera and finally enrolled in a music conservatory to perfect her operatic voice .

@@johnojvind7641 No I'm sure.....she stuck to her plan of full opera training in the music conservatory as her ultimate aim and wouldn't be swayed. Amira has crossed over though...she sings a combination of both opera and contemporary music

@@pamelamawby2850 To my knowledge PJ been classical trained since she was 4. Her present vocal coach did not start training her until she was around 15. PJ separated vocal training and the acting. She went to conservatory already at 15 but only music theory and acting training. If you check her vocal teacher they sings almost identical while Amira still is herself, because Amira in pracice had very limited vocal coaching from different professional like Corlea Botha not enough interferring with her individuality.

@@johnojvind7641 I can only say what my understanding of the journey was so who knows ....I would love to know why coaches feel the need to steer singers away from opera though...there must be a reason. Opera is difficult and harsh on young vocal chords...so maybe that could be the reason I guess. Anyway whatever happened both singers are amazing and I can never get enough of listening to them

Generally speaking, opera is the most difficult type of singing. Singing in small bursts can be hard, but so can runs, or the incredible high notes she sang. The amount of control to sing this piece is insane in breath support, control in facial muscles, note and pitch accuracy, and the trust and practice you need to know you'll hit all the notes correctly. This was truly a masterclass to any singer. It's clear she practiced this for months. Amazing singer. Pretty sure this song is about her living as a doll.
