I have dry skin and am older, I like nourishing sheer coverage with a satin finish. Too matte or too shiny highlights all the imperfections. I like the Chanel Water Fresh Tint and the Chanel Water Fresh Complexions Touch. I also really love the Australian brand Eye of Horus Second Skin Foundation and the Skin Tint Serum Foundations. I quite like the Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation.

All time Top 5: Pat McGrath, LaMer, N°1 De Chanel, Tom Ford (all of them😂) & Haus Labs. I have a sample of the Patrick Ta and it may move up. My most disappointing is the YSL skin tint. It will not sink into my dry skin no matter what I do.

Patty, I tried the About Face Foundation at your recommendation and you are so right. It is wonderful. I had to exchange the first color I chose online because it was too dark, but the new color is gorgeous. I love this product and the price is even better! Thanks, Patty.

I love the Fenty Soft Lit so happy you ranked it high on your list. The Patrick Ta one looked creepy on my maturing skin. Took that back so quick to Sephora in exchange for my other favorite, the Huda Tricone foundation.

My number one has been the NARS light reflecting for ages now. Out of those, I tried the ELF CC cream and really liked it, and also the red Tir Tir one which I hated as it was too heavy, dry and cakey on me. The silver cushion was pretty nice though. I too have dry skin, and the MUFE hydrating foundation, ND powder foundation and the lisa eldridge skin tint are the three I plan to try next year

My recent favourite foundation is also the Fenty, it is so beautiful on the skin. And my favourite skin tint is still the Sisley Phyto-Hydra Teint!! It is gorgeous ❤ and I often wonder why I don't hear more about it. I believe that this would be a product for you actually Patty! 🥰 I wish you would try it ❤ The only 🙈 is the price, but I have to say it is worth the price 🤩❤ love this video btw 😉😉❤️

I really enjoy how thorough all your reviews are!! Thank you! I have dry skin with rosacea and live in a hot dry climate. My favorites are Chanel Les Beiges hydrating longwear (year round), Koh Gen Do aqua (year round), Armani LS (year round), Hourglass tinted moisturizer (winter), UD Hydrmomaniac (summer) and Chanel le teint ultrawear (summer). I tried NARS light reflecting and the Haus labs this year… both of them somehow made me look oily and dry at the same time 😂 I was shiny in my t zone but all my dry, flaky areas were really emphasized. I also tried the Lancôme Care and Glow; it was ok but I felt like it looked really makeup-y and it was drying over the course of the day. Laura Mercier hydrating primer is wonderful if you have dry skin. It the only primer I have that doesn’t mess with any of my foundations.

That seems a marmite foundation. I found it accentuated each individual pore and was super dry. But some people it seems to work very well for. All the reviews on the Tom Ford UK website say the same as me

i have sensitive acne prone,combo skin ..don't understand how the fenty foundation works for anyone it clings to every dry patch, could it be that the formula differs in the shades? i have the lightest shade..

@@user-wb3bj8yk8v yeah. Mixing it in directly with a moisturizer helps. Or with my shiseido revitalessence. But it’s a flop. And to top it off it’s also too pink for me and the third shade is too dark 😤

Tried a few too! Love Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint! TirTir is ok; but prefer Merit, Dior, Prada , Sisley and Natasha Denona powder. (MAC Serum but wrong shade). 😅 I also love to use concealers when I'm not doing anything!! ND, Tower 28 , MAC Serum Concealer. Many more that I love and also just picked up the MUF ream face palette which I haven't used it! Also Meroda which is from Finland -havent used enough but really interesting- comes out white and then matches your complexion.😮😮😅 SuperGoop , RMS and Elf did not get along w me- bad breakouts! I have normal to oily skin so what works for you doesn't work for me and it's ok. My faves right now are the YSL all hours, the Docle & Gabanna everlast and the Valentino very valentino foundations. I am also liking the Dior stick foundation a lot even though it's very emolient and the UD face bond, which is a tad too matte, but boy does it look gorgeous

I LOVE the Louboutin foundation. My only whinge is the shades pull pretty yellow. The one size was AWFUL. Really cakey and accentuated every line. A hard no. I have combo skin
