I love your music and I really wish I could get any of my friends to give it a chance. It's like a secret language no one else wants to learn.

Anyway, this album is fucking amazing. Thank you for putting your work out there and making it available. Hugely appreciated. You're doing a lot of good.

TBH, I'm high on Molly and this dropped at the perfect time. I'm writing a long ass letter to my best friend right now and this feels just like such a perfect night. I hope you know that you've helped me feel okay when I haven't always been, and to me your art sounds like the familiar parts of my head no one else really feels comfortable settling into, either because there's some weird shit in there, or because it's just something like this album, which I don't have the words for at present. I'm sorry to leave this on your video so late, and while I'm out of my mind no less, but your music has helped me sincerely to explore parts of myself in thought I hadn't touched in a really long time, and I'm learning to be better about a lot, and you're music helps. I'm not going to put all this on you, of course, there's lots that goes into this sort of thing and I'm well aware of the sort of one way relationship we have on this platform, but please consider this to be a note tossed over the wall between us, thanking you for filling my working days with otherworldy delights to occupy my mind while I toil. Sorry again about all this, and sorry that this parasocial relationship has formed, I don't mean to put any sort of responsibility on you or claim that you're doing this "for me" or anything, I just hope you hear enough how much doing this means to people. I imagine its nice to hear from outside your own perspective is all. I hope to keep hearing this stuff from you, because you're one of the artists I keep track of who has most spurred me to continue improving my music where I can, and making my theater as solid as I can so I can maybe do the same for someone else one day. You keep a special sort of spirit alive on the internet, that for a while I was worried might be lost, but I guess you can't lose anything on this big old shared library of data. I've gone long enough, you get the idea, I'm going to go finish writing a letter to my best friend and then I'm going to write a poem I think. -Yours sincerely, Some gay agender person from Utah who your music helps keep grounded and focused. Again, I know I don't know you or anything, so maybe I don't love YOU, but I love your work and all the importance I've been able to give it.

I can't speak for eric, but as an artist myself, if someone wrote that about my music (regardless of what substances they were on), that alone would sustain me for a very long time. Don't apologize.

There's something about this album that really hits my heart. Especially the intro, Xor, and Please Hold, among others. I'm a trans guy and had no idea the creator of this wonderful music was a trans woman until I did further research after listening to several of her albums. There's an atomized, dreamy sweetness and just slightly edged yearning to it that fits the kilter of many personal things, and is simple, yet complex and brilliant composing. Thank you, Patricia. You're an incredibly talented woman and I hope more people continue to experience the joy of finding you, basking in the phenomenon of your work, and appreciating these fragile transmissions.

I think that playing this album at the same time as one of those "10 hour rain sounds to relax to" videos was one of my best decisions in recent memory. 11/10, very sleepy

Just noticed that the video is scrolling up the cover art, really slowly, over the course of the album.

I dont know why, but I only really sat down and listened to this album for the first time recently, and as soon as I finished it I realised it was a mistake that I hadnt done so earlier. Patty's albums that are most similar to this one (Traveller, Nostalgia, Telecommunications) are three of my favourite albums of all time, and this album is really a great successor to those three. I like the last three songs on this album a lot, and i think this album really gets better and better as it goes along, with the last song a stand-out from the rest. Wish I'd listened to this when it came out

when I listened to s.c.m.proto. I couldn't help but hear you singing lyrics to it the first time I listened. It really does sound like the type of music you would write lyrics for, I kind of wish you did, but it's okay. maybe someday.... Great music though
