Patrick thought Robin was dead. Emma too until Robin being alive stopped Patrick from making the biggest mistake of his life by marrying the woman responsible for what happened to his daughter's mother his wife.

I disagree. I get what you're saying though. As someone who raised Robin from childhood, it would just be natural instinct for him to just run to her and embrace her. But I don't think Felicia was trying to hold him back out of spite or because he is just her uncle. She has just returned from being presumed dead; it would be overwhelming. Emma saw her first, and it's best that she get reacquainted with her before everyone else.

mel b That's exactly why their reunion was staged this way, with Sabrina reacting to everything like a gut punch. To overwhelm the moment with sympathy for her. It was unfair to Scrubs but the writers wanted to give Sabrina a fighting chance by getting enough viewers on her side. It just didn't work out that way so ultimately they should have given Scrubs a more private moment to kiss, etc.

The person that took Robin out of the lab pulled the wedding ring finger and put in on a dead body so Patrick would believe that Robin had died in that explosion. Emma was happy to see her mother at the back of the church where Patrick was about to marry Sabrina. That did stop the wedding' when Robin came back from the dead. Patrick had to make Sabrina understand that he did not know Robin was alive.

Brenda Johnson I think it's like Sabrina said later, he forgot she and everyone else in the church were even there because it was like a dream he was enjoying too much. 😂 But then the guilt for hurting Sabrina slapped him back to reality, which is why he took a couple weeks to have the guts to do what everyone knew he would.

When Patrick asked Robin if she called his cell phone a couple weeks ago, and she says yes, and they pan the camera to Felix and Sabrina, didn’t Sabrina tell Patrick when he thought it was Robin calling him that no it couldnt be or something even though she found out that Robin was alive from Carlos

Rosanne Perkins The scene where Robin calls Patrick and Sabrina tells him that's not possible comes before the scene Carlos finds out Robin is alive. Sabrina really didn't know at that point and later when Carlos tells her he saw Robin alive, she chooses to believe he's lying. She also chooses not to tell Patrick what Carlos said.

maris78 Well she must feel pretty bad right now because Carlos was telling her the truth. He was trying to save it from a broken heart. It was just odd to me that they panned the camera to Felix and Sabrina when Robin said that. It just never made any sense to me that they had Patrick wait so long to make a decision, when he asked Robin right there in the church to go home with him that night, and he kissed her like Sabrina didn’t even exist. I remember years later when Patrick goes thru the same thing with Sam, he and Sabrina meet up at the floating rib, she even tells him she should’ve ended things right there in the church...🤷‍♀️ .

Sabrina was perfect with Michael and she had more story with him. I got really attached to her during that storyline, I wish they hadn't killed her off.

Something that I always wondered Jason Thompson had said that they extended him in 2014 so he didn’t leave with Kimberly because they were going to create a storyline where we work through Patrick’s anger. I’m wondering sometimes if this anger was not just Robin leaving three months after she arrived, was the fact of somebody taking her in 2012, faking her death, holding her hostage for almost 2 years that’s a lot of anger that he would have to deal with.. because the love of his life have been gone for two years...
