Patrick Cowley was the electronic keyboard genius - he was way ahead of his time & was a true trailblazer. He created sounds that inspire others to this day. And others yearn to re-create... Coupled with the incredibly powerful falsetto voice of the one & only Sylvester (James ) they recorded music that exemplifies the mid to late 70's. An era that will never be re-created nor replicated. The sounds of the 70's were the soundtrack to a generation's lives that many of us fondly recall.. Dance on people.....

RA: I’ve spent my day on this channel & saved this one for last. Wow, what a blast this has been. Firstly, my impressions of this track. It starts with a familiar but slightly altered percussive hook that resonates throughout the majority of the track. The attention & reverence given to this mix just inspirational knowing there’s others out there who still enjoy this music, albeit with added flavours whilst retaining the iconography of the original tracks. Those of us in our 60’s who danced & DJ’d to these tracks probably wish we had today’s technology available to us then, as in our heads & in our souls we dreamed we could create mixes & video edits to the tunes that were the soundtracks of our lives. However here’s the generation & the tech that’s able to deliver those electric dreams on one of KZbin’s best channels. Here is where we can relive those memories of (yes) five decades ago, whilst the younger generation gets to enjoy it with new, fresh, & intoxicating mixes that add modern & exciting flavours, feels & vibes. Here is where we can come & share a common appreciation & love of the best dance music there will ever be. This has been a phenomenal journey today at the start of 2024, getting to dance (even if only virtually) to one of the best collections of remixes on KZbin, accompanied by some amazing dance videos. I finished with a Sylvester track & dearly hope Mr Moreno manages to get around to Sylvester’s other classic tracks (“You Make Me Feel Mighty Real” & “Dance Disco Heat”) once that new computer is up & running (sorry, I only just read that news. I kinda hoped there’d be a Patreon link but I’ll look up the PayPal link even if you have now achieved your goal - it’s the least I could do to show my appreciation of your artistry). Anyway, to all who follow this KZbinr, have a great 2024 & keep enjoying great music.
