If fornaroli can be accepted, why can’t Patty be? I hated Bruno a lot more than I hated Kisnorbo, this will be good for us

Great Melbourne City coach! The mighty Victory want to be ruled by a City patriot!

I do love that he puts importance on the young players coming through. That's something we've had very little of, at least in comparison to some of the other teams in the league. I'd love to see us develop more exciting youth products, and actually get to play them.

He inherited a squad that was already built for him. As soon as he had to stand on his own two feet, he failed miserably. He is unproven as a manager, Victory should have gone hard for someone like Stajic

Those fans moaning about Popovic leaving should take note that Popovic did not even care to say goodbye and thanks to the fans after he left. That speaks volumes.

This has to be satire. Why would Victory hire ex-City. You're alienating a lot of fans.

Those fans need to grow up and realise this is a global game and a global business and over the journey there WILL be people coming and going from your club that you personally may not agree with, but you have faith that the people running the Club are making the right call in the circumstances. I have no issues.... Bruno came to us, played his guts out and we embraced him. Patty no different in my eyes. Same as when Poppa came... the proof is on the pitch and the scoreboard and the results.... THAT's what will get the fans onboard.... or not... it's in his hands now to show us why he deserves to be at Victory. 'Mon !!!

If you've got the young players in the club, you don't need to spend money to buy players

You know we had Kevin Muscat as both a player and coach, right? ;) I mean, I love the bloke, but he didn't have the most stellar of reputations among neutrals. Don't think Kisnorbo has a reputation even close to that of Kev's. I'm iffy, simply because of his time in Europe as manager. But then, he might thrive in Australia, but struggle overseas. Graham Arnold is probably like that as well(he didn't win a game in Japan, but his A-League teams won trophies). Time will tell, I guess. I can't stand city much like most Victory supporters, but if I can warm to, appreciate and respect Fornaroli, then it can happen with almost anyone.
