Soon people will start praying the Chiefs stop winning superbowls.....actually, no. They wont. No one wished the Bulls would stop winning because M.J and S.P were so damn exciting to watch, under pressure, in the biggest games. Patrick Mahomes is the Michael Jordan of the NFL. Simple as that. And Tyreek is Scottie Pippen.

A one of a kind player that is beyond words. He does things never seen before and if there are no serious injuries, he may be the best quarterback of all time... He has a great group of players that act as the engine for the team and Mahomes is the sparkplug that gives it the power!! How about those Chiefs!!!!

The thing that people confuse is they like to talk about how he has all of this talent around him. None of these guys were particularly high draft picks. Hell, Mahomes had other QBs drafted ahead of him. There were what, 17 WR drafted before Tyreek Hill. It's not like they are stacked with Top 5 picks. What no one talks about is the work ethic. Tyreek Hill, Kelce, Watkins work really hard at their craft. There have been guys with this speed in the league before. Watkins didn't put up these numbers before Mahomes. Tyreek looked like De'Anthony Thomas but unlike DAT he learned how to run routes and be a complete WR instead of just a burner. Kelce worked himself into being the best TE in the league. You have to look at how badly these guys collectively want to be great as a group and individually. Watkins talked about how he lost weight, and was pulling out all stops this season. You cannot make someone want it that bad. When they do, they win Super Bowls.
@Horible44 жыл бұрын
Not shitting on Mahomes, he's probably top 3 quarterback in the league at this point, but I would still put him behind Russel Wilson. Don't forget Russel Wilson doesn't have much in the run game, he has a poor offensive line, sub-par receiving talent and a defense with just Jadeveon Clowney around it. And he still almost beat the 49ers twice. Pretty much by himself. That's a tall order for a quarterback to go and beat a defense like that with no run game and a shit offensive line. No, I'm not a Seahawks fan. The main reason though is because we have more sample size out of Wilson to determine he's able to play at that level through multiple seasons. We need to see more from Mahomes, imo, before we put him as QB #1.

Reminds me of Golden State, people like to argue that steph has Allstars around him when none of his core group were high draft picks, they were just extremely determined to get better and better, and they have that TEAM mentality.

Sammy Watkins was a VERY good wide receiver before Mahomes. His issue was staying healthy. Kekce is elite. Tyreek is good but Mahomes makes him great. It's hard to say they don't have a lot of talent around him. The thing is though when Hill went down, we seen Hardman and Robinson turn into stars. That's what turned me into a believer of this guy. When Mahomes can work with anything the coach puts around him and still dominate, you're something special.

77 Fabian I’m so happy being a Chiefs fan right now. I was born in the late 60’s & was 1 when they went to their last Super Bowl. I’ve been rooting for these guys all my life. We’ve had some ok QBs in my time & we’ve had some absolute train wrecks. I used to look on with envy at teams that had a Staubauch, Bradshaw, Montana, Favre, ELWAY, Wilson, Marino etc....”Why can’t the Chiefs ever find a franchise QB?” I’d ask. I remember when they took Todd Blackledge in 1983 at pick #7. Quarterbacks still available at the time? Just Jim Kelly & Dan Marino🤦♂️ When we moved up & got this kid, I looked at his highlights and I knew that, even if he never hit the upper stratosphere of QBs, he’d be a lot of fun to watch. But I had a feeling he could be really, really good. It’s the best time in my 52 years to be a Chiefs fan, except, maybe, for the late 60’s & early 70’s team, which I was too young to remember.

A few weeks back, PatrickMahomes and his girlfriend brittanylynne were having dinner at a pizza place near their home in KC. Obviously everyone recognized them, but nobody interrupted them at all, allowing them to enjoy a peaceful meal. They paid their bill and started to head out the door, and still nobody is jumping up to ask for a selfie or an autograph or anything. Pat stops at the door, turns back, and everyone looks up. He says to the entire restaurant, “Thanks for letting us enjoy our dinner. This is why I LOVE Kansas City. You guys are awesome!” After he and Brittany left, it was revealed they had paid the bill for every table.
