The Chiefs beat the 1 and 2 seeds in their conference, on the road. They beat the best two qbs (only two to receive MVP votes) not already playing for the Chiefs. They beat the #1 seed in the NFC to win the Superbowl. This was maybe the hardest road to the superbowl that a team has taken in a while, and Mahomes and Reid made it look like the most inevitable thing since MJ, Phil, and the 90s Bulls.

All that with the least amount of rest in league history. I know everyone pretends the league is helping KC but in reality they've done all they can, legally, to try and keep KC out of the playoffs. And this season that was giving them what looked like the toughest second half of the season before it began while getting far less rest than the teams they're playing

Stop talking about the defense as if its a single entity...if you can't name players and specific plays outside jones than just give mahomes credit....we wouldn't be talking about the defense if mahomes didn't get 2 field goals and a td late
