I agree. He is the odd guy out here. Mahomes is one the best to ever do it already, and Cousins has been a very good QB for his career. Mariota hasn't lived up to his hype levels or draft position. But he has alot to be proud of. He has been in the league for 8 years, been a starter, gone to the playoffs, competited with the best. He has nothing to feel bad about and should take pride in his journey through college and his career in the league no doubt. Respect

Respect to Mariota for his class and positive attitude. This documentary was no doubt tough for him to go through. It hasn’t quite panned out for him as a full-time starter but he is capable of being a solid backup if Hurts goes down. Much respect to Cousins too. Great family man. Top 10 QB. Puts up great stats and has a winning record in his career. Not entirely his fault for some playoff disappointments….say when the Vikings pathetic defense made Danny Dimes look like Mahomes

Mariota being a Heisman winner you have to wonder if he got drafted into a system that just wasn't a fit for his skillset? So many good/great players get drafted into the wrong systems with the wrong coaching (we all learn differently) and did that do more harm to him than good? He seems like a great guy. Super humble and professional. I'd like to see him find some success before he retires.

yeah the right situation is pivotal for a young QB’s success. In spite of being ruined, he still had a solid career.

It HURTS, (no pun intended, really!) to be a once upon a time, "can't miss" new prospect, at QB1, with one's own team, to reluctant backup to Carr, to getting one's hopes up, AGAIN, as a QB1, with LOTS of assurances, to having your dream, embarrassingly, publicly crashing down, AGAIN, with an injury AND a benching. He's ashamed. At least, Kirk DID have a very good winning season, with some meme moments, and PatM won another SB! He probably feels "less than", a failure, and a "what could have been" at QB. They other two CAN speak of commanding their teams and offenses, and special wins, but, Mariota, can't (really). He's getting paid, and agreed to be in ot when he got the Atlanta spot, so I'm not going to act like Mariota deserves a medal and went through war. I'm not going to be hyperbolic with the "class act" crap,-- he's promoting a Netflix doc, it's part of his contract--but he IS doing an admirable job trying to pretend that he's a ok, and cool with it all.

@@thetruthisthelight0910 Sorry, the English teacher is coming out of me here: "Class act" isn't exactly hyperbole. Saying he is the classist player in the NFL would be. A class act means that you have achieved above the standard level of human decency (manners, respect, politeness, empathy, humility, no selfish expectations) in the face of temptation and tribulation. The mom that doesn't cry when her toddler gets a shot to show bravery = class act. The kid that says "please, thank you, excuse me" is a class act. Holding a door open for someone = class act. Sorry for the rant = class act. Telling someone "it's all good man" = class act. Apologies again lol

Man, it’s good to have Patrick Mahomes as your QB…but Britney is rough to watch with how brash and harsh her personality is. 3. Three guys, obviously on VERY different paths and skill levels, but still all respect and admire each other. Mahomes showing so much respect to them both also speaks volumes. There’s 0 ego and all respect knowing they all put in the same work. At the end of the day, they’re all just regular dudes who love football and have the same goals and work very hard. This show was super well made. I’m from KC, but Kirk cousins may just be my second favorite QB now because of this show. He’s just a normal guy/father who just so happens to be also an NFL player level athlete and millionaire lol. Football isn’t always about whos the “best” Most people who play or watch the game do so because they genuinely love the sport. No matter who’s on season 2 I’ll be watching.

Why? Why were you even in that position? You believe everything ESPN and these other "professional analyst's" with their OPINIONS? Anyone with half a brain can see Kirk is a great Quarterback and has been for years. Here is an example... Most people who are Cowboy fans love Troy Aikman and say he's the greatest thing ever... Go look at his stats vs Tony Romo you'll notice Troy Aikman is worse than Romo but Aikman has multiple Superbowl's... So you know I wonder if it's truly a TEAM game but for some reason Kirk Cousins takes all the blame all the time for his team's failing... 1-2 in the playoffs as a Viking... Last year lost to the giants in the playoffs after he put up 24 points... that's not a Kirk Cousins issue.. He was stuck on bad Redskins teams.... How do people not acknowledge that.. He took one of the worst defenses ever to 13-4 with the largest comeback in NFL history. I also love that because his teammates put a few chains around his neck that everyone started to relax on hating him and started liking him.. I'm a Viking fan and it's getting old with all the bashing of Kirk from Viking fans as well.. You want Christian Ponder? Tarvaris Jackson? Teddy Bridgewater? We can keep going with the list of truly awful Quarterbacks the Vikings have put on the field...

@@worldzealot Yes, I completely agree. "oH, bUt HiS pRiMeTiMe ReCoRd!" so they would say in response to all that. Because yes, this hate on Kirk is so excessive that it's one of those stupid trends to hate something such as on Nickelback. ...That's at least another story, but I would think the same thing as you said where people think Kirk is the worst when they're forgetting about Tim Tebow or JaMarcus Russell being real busts. This hate trend is not only stupid, but it really is also stale. It's old. People like us know football to see that it's a team effort to win games, and Kirk finally even has a young offensive minded head coach to believe in him and let him fly after we got rid of the defensive coordinator boomer we call Zim. Kirk is just in not so well put together rosters in order for him to win in primetime games, but hey, even primetime alone is yet another team effort that people like to put on the quarterback's shoulders anyway... 2022 should've been just enough to show that Kirk was never the problem, but nope, the haters are going to find excuses to hate him anyway when they say WE have the excuses to support him when WE have the right reasons to.

25 to 30% of his passes in 2022 were deemed UNCATCHABLE. That was with throwing to receivers like London and Pitts that have huge catch radius. I saw him over throw guys by 10 to 15 feet. That's above their heads by that much. I mean I saw him throw a pass to Pitts that was on the sideline for what could have been maybe a 5-10 yard gain. The ball almost went into the stands.

I will always root for Mariota. My first NFL jersey and when he got drafted to my Titans I had a feeling he was special. He led the Titans to multiple winning seasons and was a true talent and class act. He came to my local Kroger to sign autographs back in 2018 but they had to leave right as i got to the front of the line, so at the end of the day i never got to formally meet my childhood hero, however i did get to witness him run an 87 yard touchdown against the rival Jaguars.
