Great little tutorial Pat! I've turned lots and lots of small tops but I always learn more from tutorials such as yours! Thanks for the tip about using carnuba wax and buffing to prevent smears when little kids use the tops! Clear, concise and great presentation! Thanks for sharing and safe turning to you always!

I have made a few tops and also found that the bowl gouge produced the most consistent results for me as well. The chatter tool is nice!
