Patrick Rohrbach of Montana went a little further south while waiting for Jets Over Kentucky 2021 flying to start. First time at Georgia Jets Airfield. Glad to be able to capture him flying. BVM Jets Fighting Falcon F-16 1:6 scale PNP. Wingspan: 65.5 inches (1663.7 mm), Fuselage Length: 96.5 inches (2451.1 mm), Dry Weight: 30-31 pounds (13.61 - 14.06 kg). Does BVM F16’s come with speed breaks?

great video, whats the blower for, is that running a AMT Airstart Turbine?

Turbine is Swiwin 190B, Brushless starter motor. Blower was a precaution for a hot start. I don't know the history of that turbine but most starts are not done that way. The blowers are used on shutdown to lessen the wear on the starter. On shutdowns the starter motor is engaged or cycle until the EGT is usually below 100 degrees centigrade. The blower accelerates turbine cooling on shutdowns.
