Enjoyed the interview. The Canadians are back. How come the change in format of the Games in 2019 and 2020 affected them so disproportionately?

Justin here. I'm speculating that it's not a canadian thing as much as it was an online format thing for 2020, then a weird year in 2019. A healthy Sigmundsdottir also got cut and didn't make the top 20 cut.

I saw you hyper extend your elbow. After Brooke got hurt, the audience was well aware of Pat hyper extending his elbow and everyone was cringing hoping no one else would get hurt. It was intense!!!

It's not the Vellner curse, c'mon! He's just the fittest unlucky dude on Earth! We love you Daddy Vellny 😂

cant get my head around all the events, pat and the Brazilian guy won, but still didnt win

@@Mike-sm5kq it's a long weekend with 40 athletes and 15 or so events. Consistency is the winning sauce (if you're not named Fra5er or Toomey - well even then, they win *consistently*). Winning some and getting bottom 10 on others won't ensure podium. Both Vellner and Gui have holes in their fitness that prevent them from keeping up with the consistency of Justin

Question One: How's your body feeling? Question Two: So, poor performance in event one. Vellner curse. Tell me what happened there. Wow - talk about working hard early to get the interviewee on your side. LOL Pat took it all in stride, but maybe next time don't lead off with "Why did you suck in that first event?" Imagine if your life went that way... "Justin, congratulations on a great issue of The Morning Chalk Up. Now, tell me about this typo in the second article. What's going on there? Problems with spell check?"
