I hated business as an undergrad but the one advantage to taking those courses was that here and there you’d have a professor making very good money at their main job who was just teaching for the love of teaching/fun. These videos take me back to those classes which were always a joy to attend, even though as a petulant humanities kid the material bored me to tears. EDIT- Just checked the Patreon. I always recommend Lowenstein’s “when genius failed” when people tell me they are certain that two variables are correlated and when people assume the normal (or lognormal) distribution will save them. So many real world situations are governed by extreme, not averages.

your first book reference - "A Random Walk Down Wall Street" by Gordon Malkiel is my favorite investing book. I think he so succinctly and clearly explains the topic in such an approachable way that you don't need any formal education in finance to understand it.

As soon as I started watching this series about half the ads were for Gaia/ Sacred Geometry , some sort of psychic learning program.
