It’s a subscription based juice rental work space. We’ve developed a blockchain technology that can press underutilized space into nutritious juice, and an AI based app that detects from moment to moment those unoccupied and unused spaces. The space between your desk, the file cabinet, and the ficus? That could be juice.

There was a guy that took apart a Juicero press and found out one of the reasons why it was so expensive. The components were machined to incredible tolerances. The smaller the tolerances, the bigger the price. It didn't have any plastic inside or gaskets. They didn't need gaskets. The guy that dismantled it wondered if they were making any money on the machines and claimed that they were losing money on the machines themselves. Any engineer shall tell you that there was no need for such expensive components and that cheaper components would have done the job just as well and would have been just as reliable. Adam Neumann is funny. 😆 He knows that the company is losing money so he doesn't want to put his money in it but wants others to put theirs....and take over the company with other people's money. 😆

Physical water? That’s dumb. Nobody wants to deal with the hassle and mess of physical water. You know what’s smart? Water in the cloud. I’ll give you a minute to grasp what a genius idea this is. Water in the cloud can be moved anywhere for JIT delivery. It can be registered on a block chain or represented as an NFT and used as both a unique investment vehicle (no two water molecules are exactly alike) or as a liquid asset. Furthermore, if you know anything about homeopathy, you know that dilution generates value in the form of special healing properties. Do you know what nobody has done? Homeopathic water. Imagine if you could dilute water to a ratio of one or two parts per million. Do you get it yet? This is a license to print water and it’s 0000000.1% legal. Plus the water cures cancer.

You joke but you can buy "farm shares" from local farms where you pay a flat amount at the start of the year and get a share of the harvest every week during set dates. There's meat shares too and pig futures have been a thing for ages

As Patrick says, the Saudis would have found *some* way to annihilate their cash, whether WeWork or Neom or some other boondoggle. Are they investing in nonsense projects, *knowing* they're nonsense, for some economic purpose that escapes me?

Ah, good old Juicero and that SoftBank geezer. Last year NVIDIA and SoftBank announced a pioneering platform for generative AI. Which I think means SoftBank is investing in tech that can draw pictures with 0 commercial value. Awesome. Not to mention a whole landmine of potential copyright issues.

I mean, lots of businesses have an app - one that at least works, even if it's bad and there's no reason you'd ever use it instead of a normal website or just emailing/phoning/texting the person in question - and lots of businesses are run by fratbro douche canoes who know how to party hard and not much else. But WeWork and FTX and such are genuine magic. The difference between getting the recipe almost right, and the exact pinch-and-a-half of salt and pepper before folding the mixture exactly seventeen times counter clockwise with an oak spoon. Something incredibly powerful is happening here, these men are modern day sorcerers, and the mere fact that they can't 'generate value' for anyone else shouldn't detract from that.
