Do you ever think back to an earlier time and say to yourself ‘wow I was so much more ___ back then’?
Maybe it’s rose tinted nostalgia. But maybe it’s not and we’ve slowly allowed to inhibit ourselves out of fear of judgement or weariness.
A famous Bob Dylan line says ‘oh but I was so much older then, I’m younger than that now’. I think this is my way of expressing that.
